Hey everyone (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/xyxwave.gif)
I\'ve been lurking about here for a while and admiring the amazing work people are doing so thought id post up my build.
In the past i\'ve built a turbo charged mx5, had an egi fc, a ca18det powered capri but the lure of another rx7 was always there so i ended up with another fc but this time a t2 with various extras and seemed like a good base to start from.

On my previous egi i had had advans for a while so i had been there and done that so swapped them for a set of 18s and also snapped the front splitter within a week of having the car, was gutted, cable ties are a wonderful thing though (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.png) despoilered it at the same time
while bringing the car back up the road there were a few nasty noises so on the monday i took it to work to fix things i had gave it a blast with the steam cleaner and promptly blew all the paint off the back end, things werent going right with this project already.
while i was looking for new coilovers i was also on the hunt for wheels and got a set of rota gtrs 17 x 9.5 et12 all round
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110119-00023.jpg)
they could be with a refurb but wasnt too worried as they sat nice and fitted perfect with the wider front wings
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110119-00024.jpg)
so rolled with them for a while, still sourcing parts, got my painter contacted about a respray and decided to order the bn sports blister kit from ep racing so i could get that on with the wider rear quarters and get the whole lot sprayed and looking tasty
while waiting for the kit i had a bit of an impulse buy and got a dmax vented carbon bonnet to get rid of the gash looking red one and an offset numberplate bracket and square plate
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110314-00082.jpg)
I was liking the way it was looking and the way my little project was heading in the right direction but the delivery of the bn kit was holding things up, after contacting ep racing a few times they told me the fc parts due to come to this country had not been put in the container so it would be another 4 weeks from then before it was here, fair enough i thought, 4 weeks later nothing arrived, phoned them again, they said it had left the docks a week previous to this call, okay its on its way that was cool, then the tsunami hit and the whole of japan plunged into chaos, contacted them a few weeks after the disaster and they said the boat hadnt been able to leave the docks, yet they told me it had already left a week before the tsunami hit? i was confused.com but didnt argue as i didnt want to be insensitive as a lot had happened but to this day i still dont know if im getting the kit or not or where it is? lol
used the car for a while, and broke the splitter some more, fitted a couple of aftermarket gauges and steering wheel, messed about with bucket seats trying a few different types to see what suited me and suited the car, still havent decided properly lol
gave her a clean
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110225-00057.jpg)
still thought it was looking sweet (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) i like the rough round the edges look
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110308-00081.jpg)
as my bodykit had still not arrived and i didnt want to fit the rear overfenders or spray the car without it and after contacting a member on here about parts i made another impulse decision . . . and one little trip to blackpool later i acquired this . . .
was over the moon as i had always admired this car, it was legendary in my eyes and had aspired to build mine to something like this, also a little sad as it would mean my car would never get finished as it would now be a form of donor car for this one, but :censored::censored::censored::censored: it i can eventually put my own stamp on this if i decide too, saves my the cost of spraying and worrying about the bn kit.
finally got it home after 400 miles driving
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110422-00122.jpg)
decided to see what the garage bb wing would look like on my car
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110422-00127.jpg)
decided i looked better on the team green car and got to work and as the rotas were running low on rubber i put them on as well and tidied up the inside a bit and took some photos
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110424-00141.jpg)
put the dmax bonnet on as well
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110424-00142.jpg)
gutted the garage out in preperation to strip it down then got her inside
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110426-00145.jpg)
didnt want to strip it down as it looked so good, it had to be done though
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110426-00152.jpg)
all front and rear suspension and subframes out and stripped the parts im keeping will be sandblasted this week and the welding will also be tackled this week then the underside undersealed while the white car is brought in and stripped down then the suspension from it sent to get blasted also
after a lot of drama the coilovers arrived and the locking collars were seized solid!
so this weekend i had my gorgeous girlfriend in a boiler suit that was far to big for her rubbing down the engine bay in preparation for paint hopefully in the next 2 weeks
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110428-00156.jpg)
while she was doing that i unseized the locking collars on the coilovers and tidied all the wiring in the engine bay, i also removed the sealer around the seams as when i have the welder out and no engine in i\'ll seam weld the bay and maybe make up a few strengthening plates
finished the welding on the o/s
before
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110507-00168.jpg)
after
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110507-00169.jpg)
and a little photo of the engine bay partly rubbed down
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110507-00166.jpg)
got a little more done last night, seam welded the engine bay
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG00128-20110509-2154.jpg)
the white car has been in for a little while also, the rear subframe is out and stripped and the interior was taken out last night as well by my better half
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG00133-20110509-2156.jpg)
just need to prime and paint engine bay then underseal the underside
a little update got the engine bay all sprayed up today by a mate who did an excellent job! really pleased with the outcome and has spurred me on to keep going at it
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110515-00182.jpg)
time for another update, got all the arches and the underside all undersealed and is looking good and ready for the re assembly
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110605-00243.jpg)
got some parts back from sand blasting and decided id do them white to keep them looking fresh and clean and will contrast with the black underneath
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110605-00239.jpg)
then painted the rear toe links and camber link along with the little plates that bolt onto the subframe
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110605-00237.jpg)
also tried some other paint i had on the kill cord brackets, thinking it looks pretty funky, looks lots brighter in person
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110605-00241.jpg)
What engines going in? Bridge/streetport?
Looks good!
standard port for now, simply not enough money do a fully built engine
thanks man
i\'ve a fair few updates to put up still
Been following this on DW for a while now, I love it there is no other way of putting it. The work you\'ve put in is truly commendable, get the rest of build up mate. If I can my car to anywhere near the final spec of this I will over the moon!!
thanks very much matey :) yeah i\'ll get the rest up, its taken a while to even get it to this stage but patience is the key lol im sure you\'ll get their with your man :-)
a nice little package was waiting on me when i got home (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
started stripping the wiring and any parts that were still in the inside ready to paint it, borrowed a little technique from flik and employed ye olde cling film and wrapped the cage
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110609-00257.jpg)
hopefully should be done by at the weekend and have started planning my interior so should be good (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
not having much spare time recently i havent been able to update this but have done some work and received some stuff
masked off the car again, removed the lexan windows and lexan rear hatch, rubbed down the rollcage with some wet and dry to take the shine off it for painting, been masking and cover wiring, heater motors etc and been rubbing doen the inside for its coat of paint. only the roof and footwels to rub down then it can be sprayed
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110628-00297.jpg)
crappy photos but you get the idea
sold my old seats and got these, they need a clean and would have been better if they were black but oh well
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110629-00298.jpg)
not sure if blue will match at all but there are a few blue items inside the car so might work
also without them even getting close to going on the car i sold the suspension i bought in favour of these HKS Hypermax Hyper D coilovers, 32 way damping adjustment and height adjustment
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110701-00303.jpg)
started to give them a quick clean and they should come up nice (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
looking forward to using them scooby (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) the front setup looks good mocked together
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110705-00317.jpg)
the turbo arrived as well, a Holset H2E, it came up cheap so thought id see we\'ll see how it goes
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110710-00331.jpg)
since it was a nice day today got some parts cleared out of the garage in preperation for painting the rollcage
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110709-00322.jpg)
my mate leek came up and we masked off a few other wee bits and then he hit it with primer, went from this
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110709-00326.jpg)
to this
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110710-00330.jpg)
leek doing his thing
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110709-00328.jpg)
then after a while and it was all dry it was hit with the top colour, dodge viper snake skin green, the same it was originally but when laquered will look much brighter and deeper than it was when done with rattle cans, unfortunately after the first light coat a patch on the passenger side door bar reacted so let it dry and rubbed the patch down so will prime the patch again through the week an leek is going to finish the green and laquer it then it\'ll all get masked itt and the rest of the interior will get sprayed white (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) its going to look sexy!! a few of how it sits tonight, tried a bucket in it aswell to see how they\'ll look
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110710-00335.jpg)
leek put the top coat onto the cage an laquered it, i looooove the colour and how its came out will look amazing contrasting with the white interior
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110717-00364.jpg)
also got stuck into the white car and refitted the front suspension then stripped and disconnected what was needed to remove the engine and had it out within an hour with a hand from some mates
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110716-00352.jpg)
so got the car off the stands
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110717-00355.jpg)
and got her parked up outside
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110717-00358.jpg)
got a good bit of space to work on the engine now and dont have to keep moving parts around for space so need to start stripping down the engine and simplifying it
The cage it now all masked off and my god its an awkward :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:! nice and neat now though
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110818-00559.jpg)
my mates coming round on saturday to paint the interior and then im ready to rock getting the suspension reassembled (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) got another welded diff as mine was tooshed and some goodies arrived from MMR today as well (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
solid trans mounts
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110818-00563.jpg)
funky adjustable rear camber links (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
and also solid diff mounts, which i set about fitting last night since i have the diff in pieces at the moment
customery flaming rubber photo lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110818-00556.jpg)
removed the rest of the bushes and cleaned up the casing where i had to for now, will all get cleaned more and painted soon
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110818-00557.jpg)
and pressed the new solid bushes in
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110818-00558.jpg)
good bits of kit and well made, will see how the rest of MMRs parts fit\\work soon (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
the primer has been done tonight, hopefully paint tomorrow, i need to put the new diff in and then it needs painted but after that yeah the suspension will be built up while the paint is given a few days to harden, then the paper will come off and the panels will go back on as well (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) yhen its onto the engine and interior (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
as it sits after primer
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110822-00567.jpg)
well a good bit of progress (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
the white is down (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.png)
it looks sexy and is a cracking job (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.png) so pleased that its finally done
took the tape and paper off the shell and looks great even without the cage unwrapped yet (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
offered a wheel up to see what it looked like
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110824-00597.jpg)
while waiting ont the paint inside to harden assembled the front subframe, using the polybushed lower arms i had already been using
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110825-00601.jpg)
then fitted the subframe, hubs and coilovers
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110825-00602.jpg)
adjustable camber mounts and strutbrace brackets
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110825-00603.jpg)
assembled the majority of the rear subframe as well using my new camber adjusters, going to replace the wheel bearing all round i think though so the rear hubs arent on yet and need to repaint the rear toe rods
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110825-00611.jpg)
so id left the paint for long enough and it got unwrapped and it looks amazing!!!
sooooooo pleased with the way it looks (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.png) cant wait to get the rear suspension and diff in
speaking of which
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110826-00633.jpg)
a good few coats of VHT white incase the diff gets really warm and the colour coat is getting put on tomorrow (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
that is all (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
little more done today, all door seals on, rear hatch seals on and catches, rear hatch fitted again. placed the rear lights into place for now just to get them off the shelves, they\'ll be coming off to have some work done in the future.
starting to look a little more like a car now, well the back at least lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110828-00639.jpg)
since a white diff is boring and my girl is a dab hand with a spray can the diff has ended up like this (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.png)
pink diffs mean business! shame ive got to run a mig spec diff, i just cant find a 2 way (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.png)
had a quick look at a few stickers i have to see if they suit the car, to match the diff and a few other choice bits as well lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110830-00648.jpg)
dont think i want to clutter up the car too much due to the decals that are on it already but will see how it goes, gave the rest of it a t cut and a quick polish just to end the night (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
not much progress recently as ive had other commitments to worry about but have managed to put in the steering rack
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110907-00674.jpg)
after the rack was in the steering arms were taken off and supernow rack spacers fitted
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110907-00670.jpg)
then supernow bumpsteer eliminating tie rod ends were fitted
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110907-00677.jpg)
lots of lovely lock now (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
before
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110907-00669.jpg)

after

Looking nice, good job. I really liked colour of rollcage. :)
thanks :) the colour is stunning in person especially contrasted with the white
I like this paint scheme more hehe :D
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20110628-00296.jpg)
Also, where did you get that UIM?
ah the paper mache prototype fc, very rare :p
i got it from driftmotion on dw, also have and hks additional fuel controller to run it, just need to make a fuel rail
Nice to see this car getting the attention it deserves. Good work that man and his missus!
yeah it needed some tlc :) thanks mate :) just need to crack on with it now :) new diff this weekend :)
that does look very good, wish I knew how to take mine apart and how to seam weld and do all of that.
OMG thats superb !!!!!!!!!!!!!
wish i had that space to do that sort of work
I know its cheeky to ask , how much was the race car in blackpool
I live about 40 mins away from there and never realised it was based there !
Looking very nice mate
thanks man :)
wooo :) after another long journey ive got myself a decent diff, a kaaz 2 way from yiug412 on here :)
when i got it back
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111023-00723.jpg)
after i took some of the paint off to be painted again :)
also picked up some 40mm hubcentric spacers for the rear
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111023-00721.jpg)
got an old skool hks dumpvalve off a mate so should be pretty cool :)
a nice little shot :)
Keep it coming matey, its all good stuff. Hopefully it will get to the second page soon as my work computer can\'t take all the pics on one page :Giggle
there\'ll probably end up just as many photos on that page as well lol,
put the MMR solid mounts from my first diff into this newest casing tonight, diff bushes are officially the easiest job in the world lol :) i also put together a current spec list and its getting pretty good, just going to get stuck into the fuel system soon as far as parts go, most work recently has been cleaning parts for paint seems endless but has to be done
great work mate !!!!
thanks man :)
got my girl involved again and the diff was primed again in heatproof white
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/03112011239.jpg)
then the pink
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/03112011243.jpg)
then a coat of laquer after the pink was done
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/04112011245.jpg)
so my nice 2 way was ready to be fitted, which i did (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
sorry for the crappy phone pics my decent phone is away for repair, then fitted the rear subframe and rear coilovers
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/04112011247.jpg)
finally got all my clamps for the turbo
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/10112011252.jpg)
also bought a new ecu so now i\'ll be running an apexi power fc
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/01112011238.jpg)

Least the suspention wasnt in your way for getting the diff off!!! was very tempting to steal the diff while i was up there but all suspention exhaust and intercooler were enough for me for now.
have to say though looks good all the work i got loads of pics of mine to go up but going to wait for everything to be sorced first.
so after cleaning up the engine block, i started by painting the rotor housings in VHT white
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111115-00005.jpg)
then the yellow on top of that
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111115-00008.jpg)
then the other plates were dont with VHT black and the whole engine done with VHT laquer
quite pleased with how its looking :)
then came the heat wrap, using an HKS manifold with a T4 flange and an HKS external wastegate, got the heat wrap from a guy on here and seems great quality :)
need to get some metal ties so tied with a few cable ties for now and will be replaced soon
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00013.jpg)
then my beautiful assistant fitted it to the block
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00015.jpg)
everything fits well
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00016.jpg)
can you guess what the inspiration behind the colour scheme was :p
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00018.jpg)
fitted the holset i have onto the manifold just out of interest of fitment and size etc
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00020.jpg)
with the huge filter
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00024.jpg)
and the monster 4 inch v band
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00025.jpg)
the engine is coming along but thing im going to paint the inlet manifold so will probably come apart again
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111119-00027.jpg)
great work mate
i like the style :)
good luck !!
Well you certainly ain\'t gonna get it mixed up with anyone else\'s engine build!
Seriously though it\'s lookin mega. Nice work.
thanks guys :) yeah i like the facts its different but im worried i might ruin it if i paint the lim and uim?
great build, who ya going to get to map it for ya ?
Thanks mate :-) also just painted the sump and hydraulic handbrake mount tonight so if the sump matches the engine I may do the inlet manifold the same but time will tell
Thinking of taking it to hayward rotary to get it mapped
more of an update
as im not going to be using the holset if managed to get a to4r with a .96 exhaust housing
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111129-00040.jpg)
sprayed my engine mounts white and got high tensile bolts for my solid engine mounts and in a moment of madness sprayed the sump the same pink as the diff
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111129-00041.jpg)
made a set of blanking plates for my lower inlet manifold and sprayed them the same yellow as the engine and did the lower and upper manifolds black, going to replace all nuts and studs, bolts with alan key bolts, just waiting on gaskets and they will be permenantly bolted into position
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111203-00049.jpg)
i then got a nice carbon centre console from jaymo sx which i believe to be from neils old fc
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111203-00045.jpg)
looks good with my flocked dash and carbon gauge pod
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111203-00046.jpg)
then decided id put the engine in to save a little space and make it easier to mock up my v mount setup while im waiting on other parts
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111206-00052.jpg)

What fueling are you going with? Why did you go with a quad injector bung setup for only a T04Z?
walbro 255 lift pump to swirl pot then bosch 044 to engine, AN fittings and teflon pipe through the car and a power fc ecu, using the quad manifold as i already had an hks additional injector controller for an fc and i knew someone with this manifold, i like the idea of 4 x 550cc rather than say 2 x 1000cc ones, the 550s are high impendence and deliver the fuel more equally in a better mist and mixes better in the uim rather than in one blob right at the base of the lim like a high cc injector, plus its something different and isnt much more work
Your thread is jam packed full of win!! It\'s an awesome build mate when it\'s done it\'s gonna be up there with the best FC\'s in the country, perhaps further ;)
Top stuff mate.
Yeah agreed, this will be the new testament for FCs.

Ah ok, im going Tomei 280 intank, 044 inline and then 044 inline in the engine bay with an AN8 hard line :)
Im guessing you are going with a parallel fuel setup? How many injectors are you using then? I am going to put 4 x 550s in my quad manifold along with the 2 x 550 standard and 2 x 1680 secondaries.
Thats a nice flocked dash btw :)
Nice to see the dash panel has gone to good use ;)
Wow, very nice work :)
b.martin, nic3s thanks guys glad you like it :) all encouragement is good for me to keep at it especially when its getting cold lol
mitch, thats some amount of fuel your going to be firing in there lol im just using the standard 550s primary and secondary so 8 x 550cc injectors total, ive been looking at series and parallel rail setups and ive been wondering how im going to incorporate my extra fuel rail, you may have seen these diagrams?
series
http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/stocrail.jpg
parallel
http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/stocrail.jpg
i was considering using the stock series rail setup with a splitter block for my extra rail but not sure how to do away with my stock pressure regulator and use my aftermarket one without getting new rails or cutting it off and welding on AN fittings?? im still learning about this lol, the dash is getting there but im going to have to start cutting parts to fit past the cage
yeah looks at home neil :)
thanks fil auto :)
Yeah, I need it on the TA45, can\'t let it go lean! The e-manage ultimate allows up to 12 injectors anyway.
My fuel setup is going to be parallel with an AN8 hard line vs the OEM AN6 hardline to get the fuel in there, I might run a second fuel line (or indeed use the OEM AN6 line) for the seperate set of injectors so I will have:
1 x Tomei 280lph intank
1 x 044 + AN8 + 2 x 550 + 2 x 1680
1 x 044 + AN6 + 4 x 550
If you think about how much fuel the standard fuel system has in it ie:
4 x 550cc = 2200cc
Just 1 1680cc injector is the majority of the OEM stock fueling flow.
Im def. keeping 550cc primaries though for better idle and drivability, then have loads of fueling plus the meth injection on top to keep the temps down and have plenty of safety margin on fueling.
I think you can unscrew the OEM FPR, ive just changed rails lol
Question on the quad manifold, I have just got mine, the OEM 550s don\'t fit my injector bungs, the connector gets in the way, have you test fitted yours? Also where are you getting the custom rail to run them from?
Being about to run 12 injectors is very handy, I\'m not sure if the power fc is able to run additional injectors? Would save me having to run the hks controller if it does? Will need to check
Sounds like a well thought about and reliable setup, I\'m going to run water injection but wondered what ignition your going to be running?
Unscrew you say? If I could then possibly screw an AN fitting straight in then everything would be simpler
Yeah I\'ve fitted my injectors, I\'ll take them apart and take photos to show you how mine fit, also if you need the electrical connection I\'ve found a place to get them
In regards to the fuel rail if you speak to jon at atomic rex he can supy the parts for the rtail, I\'m considering making mine as I have the ability and the equipment here to make them, also I\'ve seen a form of banjo fitting the connects to the top of the injectors secured with a c clip if I remember correcty
Im going to try and find something like this:
If you could post up the injector photo and how they fit it would be very handy! Im not sure how they would seal and be air tight though as the whole OEM injector fits inside the injector bung lol
The setup is getting there, there are 2 things that kill rotaries, overheating and running lean at the wrong time, I don\'t plan for either of those to happen!
I think they unscrew, apparently the OEM rails can hold about 500bhp or so
I have 2 spare pigtails from my loom and have another engine loom I can take the OEM injector connectors from, they are the same as 1.8 MX5 injectors anyway :)
You are lucky, you have to be VERY precise with the holes though, its why I like the idea of the injector holder above as each injector can be added into a rail and its quite a flexible design as each injector is plumbed in individually.
great tread !!!!!
lot of nice works !!!!
yeah i\'ll post up a pic, i have a rubber seal inside the bung that when the top ring is tightened down it seals, seems quite effective.
yeah i know what you mean, im on a mision to keep my temps down as well, what ignition amplification are you going to be using?
yeah i have seen another setup like this using fuel pipe from each injector then into a rail, this may be the best option but im going to weight up a few options and see what is going to be best,
Ignition will be custom, the FC coils are very very good, its just the 80s electronics behind them that aren\'t the best, I have a set of FD coils in the garage, I was wondering how the engine even worked with those tiny things lol
lol i know what you mean, the difference between the fc and fd igniter is unreal, been considering some fd parts to replace fd parts as i have a few things around as well but havent decided.

the holes in the cap are done so that grub screws hold the cap in place nicely
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20111223-00078.jpg)
AH! Im just missing the O ring that fits round the injector then hopefuly they won\'t be too hard to find! At least I don\'t need to worry about the gromits at the base of the injector anymore! Make sure you get new seals for those though, its amazing the difference between 20 year old used seals and new!
Another update :)
The gearbox and prop are in, using mmr solid bushes to mount the box, suspenion links, adjustable centre camber link to go with the adjustable mmr adjustable camber links, driveshafts all fitted, new wheel bearings and removed the abs rings and sensors, bothe hubs have dtss bushes also, brakes need o be fitted once ive stripped the calipers and also have the rear anti roll bar to fit with poly bushes
gearbox and prop

mmr bushes
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120214-00149.jpg)
fitted to the mounts
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120214-00150.jpg)
everything assembled
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120216-00161.jpg)
nice to be able to bolt all the wheels on properly and roll it around if i needed to, she\'ll stay up on stands till ready for mot though i think
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120216-00160.jpg)
next big step is the wiring loom, my plan is to remove the old loom from the grey car and replace it with the loom from my old white car as it matches the engine and allows me to use standard controls inside, ive changed looms in cars before and had success but this loom seemed to be a double job as i still had to remove the loom from the white car.
so got stuck in the other day there and removed the blower motor and heater matrix from the grey car and after getting tio grips with the way the loom had to be removed i got it out of the car
inside even barer than it used to be lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120223-00165.jpg)
found wiring loom man lying around outside lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120223-00169.jpg)
so next step was take the loom out of the white car, this has its problems as the grey fc loom has bee simplified when phil built it and my white loom was a full loom with the added hassle of a clifford alarm spliced in in many areas, but after a while finding out what was what and labelling things as i went the alarm was cut out and the non essential parts of the loom were disconnected :-p then got the loom out completely
how my old fc is looking now
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120223-00170.jpg)
the loom out on the floor all cleaned up ready to go in
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120223-00171.jpg)
so now after a quick fumble with the wiring loom it now has its new home inside the fc
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120224-00173.jpg)
engine bay also a little further on and the wiring loom is 98% where it should be, just plug some things in and clip things down
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120224-00174.jpg)
looks relatively untidy in the photos but looks good in real life (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
next is blower and heater matrix to be fitted and interior to be fitted including cutting the dash and keep going with the engine (http://www.driftworks.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
You already have my PM from DW :) let me know what you want to do
i will mate, decisions decisions lol
Nice job. :)
Covered in thick awesome sauce!
thanks re japi :)
B.Martin that is the best selection of words ive heard in ages! lol!
due to a few late nights i\'ve been sorted out by retro boy g with this mad amount of energy drinks lol and a nice geraknob for my aw11 as well as a nice new status error sticker :)
after fitting the loom the blower was fitted along with the heater matrix, all piped up and working :)
next was setting about the headlights, a nice set of raybrigs i took out of my aw11
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120226-00190.jpg)
a cheap set of HIDS :) 8000k h4s
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120226-00191.jpg)
work well i think, once i mount the bumper correctly mounted im going to raise the headlights slightly and fix them in position
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120226-00192.jpg)
next the flocked dash was stripped ready to try be fitted
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120228-00195.jpg)
after some struggling and cutting the dash was fitted nicely :)

a while ago i ordered rising rpm fuel rails from the us of a and they finally arrived so got them fitted :)
even the washers were cool lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120301-00200.jpg)
got bored with the crappy instrument surround so sprayed it pink to match the handbrake, dont know if it suits or not? might flock it
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120301-00204.jpg)
fitted the fire extinguisher system and routed the nozzles through the bulkhead to the turbo area and to the drivers footwell
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120302-00210.jpg)

showing the surround and the extinguisher
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120302-00209.jpg)
fitted the pull cut offs on the scuttle panel also
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120302-00207.jpg)
while fitting the cut off i fitted the wiper linkage, motor, wiper arms, blades, washer bottle and pump with lines so there all working now as well :)
and how the car sits just now
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120301-00205.jpg)
Looking good mate :D
With those 4 550cc injectors, might be an idea to try and grab a mark 1 MX5 1.8 injector loom as the connectors are the same on the FC as that car - the 550cc FC injectors are a PnP upgrade to the standard ones for turboed MX5s :) might be eaiser than trying to find Denso pigtails!
ah cool tip man thanks :)
This is great, really like it and I\'m totally digging the bn kit which I used to dislike.
thanks man :) i must say ive wanted a bn kit ever since i got my first egi and had one ordered brand new at one point also, it looks better in person
This is 1 awesome build! I know we both live in Scotland but with not on opposite sides of it, would LOVE to see this in person, also awesome garage
Hi Mate,
Very nice build, I\'m after some new bushes for my FC how did you get on with the MMR stuff and whats it like, shiping times etc.
I see they do bushes for the front and rear arms did you get these as well
Cheers
this is a great build man, can\'t wait to see this used in anger again.
The best thing about seeing this car in person is how darn wide it is, in comparrison to a stock fc it\'s rediculous!
Oooh, that looks nice, it\'s giving me ideas that I can\'t afford :D
Quote from: BinoX;814873Oooh, that looks nice, it\'s giving me ideas that I can\'t afford :D
Ive got a spare quad bung UIM if you ever do become interested :D
festa, the mmr stuff seems pretty good and well made, the shipping time took a while though, im guessing your talking about the spherical bushes? no i didnt get them as i already had polybushed front arms and had polybushes for the rear arms also but as i got individual camber links i couldnt fit the polybushes as they wouldnt allow camber to be adjusted very much as their to stiff, this is where the spherical bushes allow movement but stay solid but i couldnt afford them at the time of ordering so they will come at a later date
thanks dtheb cant wait to get the tyres howling :)
thanks binox :) you only live once might as well build what you want :) can vouch that mitch has some quality stuff ;-)
Thanks for the info, I\'m not going to get the indivdual camber arms Iv\'e already got the adjustable bar so hoping to get away with that
Cheers
another little update,
sacked the idea of making the radiator i had into a v mount radiator and did a deal with m1tch and aquired the radtec radiator that was in the car when phil had it which saves me time and allows me to continue with other parts of the car, just gave it a good rub with autosol and mmmm shiney shiney lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120312-00230.jpg)
i have a fair idea of how it was originally mounted but if anyone reads this and knows better feel free to inform me lol
also got a downpipe from mitch as there was a fair chance that it would fit my to4r, and it does to a point, as its specific to a different turbo and a different manifold its pretty damn close, may need to be altered slightly
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120312-00234.jpg)
and now for the best bit and the bit that excites me the most :D a full bridgeported 13b built by hayward rotary :) funnily enough also the engine that phil had built for the fc, it just so happened that these became available to me and thanks to m1tch for being a spot on guy to deal with :) the BP engine wont be going in for a while though as its going to recieve a few bits and pieces and the engine i have in the car will be mapped and run for a while to make sure the rest of the car is going well :)
only photo i have at the moment
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120312-00233.jpg)
Hey....I recognise those part....oh wait :D
I can see why that downpipe is slightly different, the TA45\'s bolts are slightly further round is the O2 bungs are more at the top of the downpipe rather than the side of the downpipe as it is with yours meaning that your turbo and my turbo have a slightly different rear housing which is why it fits slightly differently.
P.S. shiny shiny :rollin
I like this quite a bit, can\'t wait to see (and hear) it done!
yeah i hope you did lol
yeah im going to see how the exhaust matches up and then take it from there :)
cant beat shiney shiney :D
thanks b.martin i cant wait to hear and drive it :)
The little job i had been threatening for ages to do was tackled recently by the gf
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120319-00243.jpg)

Amazing work, how have I only just spotted this build !
Shaun
thanks man :) it was hiding? lol
Just never spotted the thread :Giggle
Shaun
hope you enjoy looking through it :) any comments or anything fire away :)
awesome build i love this car:god:god:Thumbs-up
Thanks mate :) i love it as well, i had it turning over just with the starter and im glad all the wiring seems okay and hearing the engine turn gives more inspiration as well :)
this build is rediculous, i wish i had the time/space/funds for a project like this.
whats the plan for once its finished. Is it going to be a road car aswell?
hope thats in a good way? lol its taken a lot of each to get even this far, yeah its going to be a road car and a will take it up to crail and hopefully down south at some point, cause i live so far away from a track if it wasnt on the road it would be a total waste
got a bit done today,
fitted the extended front wheel studs
finally found caliper bolts
fitted calipers
fitted rear anti roll bar
renewed all the brake pipes
plumbed in hydraulic handbrake
decided to use my little rotor shaped clutch bracket lol
a few photos

more progress
the radtec rad and the intercooler are now mounted in their V configuration :) looks nice and shiney, pictures are a bit rubbish though
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120508-00378.jpg)
i think i\'ll also make a new bracket for the front of the intercooler
have taken the PAS pump off and will be making a bracket to support the new pump soon :)
great works mate !!!!!!
thanks man :)
I want my insides to look like yours :D
How do you get it so clean from all the wiring? Have you ditched a lot of unnecessary stuff from the loom or just consolidated it and hidden it away?
You will need an EGI water pump neck or an FD AST to run the radiator btw, its ment for an FD/FD cooling setup and so has no rad cap!
nic3s - i basically chopped loads of crap out of it, a lot of ABS and relays etc for all the rats nest solenoids etc, both ABS and rats nest are gone anyway, only one little loom runs down the drivers sill to the rear lights and fuel pump
mitch - i have that covered :-)
right so my plan was to sort a few loose ends,
i was missing a bolt from the water pump housing and as a result i couldnt bolt and seal everything together :(
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120506-00360.jpg)
i have been trying to get the original bolt but this failed so got a replacement new one, but this allowed me to remove the water pump and housing and seal the water pump housing, using the correct gasket and some wurth sealant for good measure
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120515-00391.jpg)
now all sealed, the alternator fitted, twin belt setup, was going to use gilmer pulleys but i\'d forever be getting idiots asking if it was supercharged and i think it drowns out the other noises from the car, removed the power steering belt pulley as i wont be needing that, fitted new thermostat
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120515-00392.jpg)
so after doing my brake pipes i was waiting on braided hoses and brake fluid, i originally get some from a member on here but after inspecting them they werent going to fit at all, they seem like there for an fd, so got a set from a member on mrc, fronts fit fine but the bracket on the rear wouldnt accommodate the braided fitting, luckily when at japfest a mate of mine gave me 2 reatr braided hoses and they fitted a treat so he really saved me :)
front
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120516-00399.jpg)
rear
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120516-00398.jpg)
got my brake fluid
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120516-00396.jpg)
ordered too much but will be handy to top up, the system was drained already so filled it up, let it gravity feed then bled it. was working well but my hydraulic handbrake wasnt working and was pushing air, then realised i had the pipes in the wrong way round in the cylinder, swapped ends and refitted, instant handbrake and great pedal, bled again to get all air out and now i have brakes :D
also bled my clutch, nice pedal there too :)
got a hold of a saxo power steering pump to convert from belt to electric, i have heard all sorts of rumours that some pipes fit, others dont, rack pipes need to be changed, special pipes need to be made etc. What i can safely say is that a mk2 saxo pump has the same thread size as the rx7 fc pipe and fits perfectly
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120516-00406.jpg)
have trail made a mounting bracket but it still needs work, i removed the small pipe on the top of the fc pump which i presume is for the variable speed and plugged it at the rack, fitted the feed and return and i have the wiring with relay to fit but will take power from the fuse box, will be nicely mounte soon :)
my trial bracket
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120517-00415.jpg)
when looking for bits in my toolbox i found a cusco brake master cylinder stopper, so fitted that
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120516-00401.jpg)
another loose end i had to do was fit one omp injector washer (i lost one somewhere, gods knows where? lol) was finding it hard to get the right size but was saved again by Ade who gave me one, as i was tightening the injector this happened
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120515-00393.jpg)
:censored::censored::censored::censored:ed off cause i hardly touched the thing lol with the heat the omp lines have became very brittle, i looked into gettin braided lines but for the sake of only a few psi i decided that i would get some ptfe pipe and fitting and make my own, and they turned out very nicely :)
so currently the engine bay is looking pretty sweet, i hid the alternator wiring under the inlet manifold and bolted in down.
next step is going to be plumb in the radiator and get coolant into her
try get turbo oil feed and return pipes from somewhere, get oil into her
cut and reweld my compressor housing
make a centre pipe for my exhaust
then the last big bit... the fuel setup
watch this space :)
Without a shadow of a doubt the most \'pull finger out of arse\' inspiring thread ever. It\'s awesome, good work!
Thanks mate :-) i need to try keep at it and not get lazy with it! Cant wait to hear in running :-)
ive done a fair bit to the car recently, and all my fuel parts have arrived so will update everything later today/tonight :)
did you get the quad lights off Ray ? ( could be dave .. not sure .. surname of Nixon )
He had some i was going to buy but then completly forgot about them
Nice build though .. very impressive
yeah mate i got the lights off him when i was down there, someone has put time into making them but i think they may sit quite low in the casings, will trial fit them and take photos at some point :)
thanks man, fuel system is looking pretty good, big update soon
i have been keeping an eye on this build for a long time now and have to say you have been doing a great job,
This build is coming along nicely :) Nice one Timmy.
Those OMP lines do get fragged so easily, the plastic doesn\'t like to bend anymore. Nice job on those.
Looking forward to the fuel update :)
I would love to make proper pop-up low-rise on my FC with something like those, or with separate Hella H7 projectors for lo and hi!
flatout - thanks man, been trying to keep the work to a decent standard, its been a long time in the making
prof - thanks prof :) yeah the lines were very brittle, surprised they lasted as long as the had, going to make a new set for the bridgeported engine as well :)
a little teaser of part of the fuel system for you prof
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120620-00528.jpg)
jimmydanny - i have a set of headlight rods somewhere that allow the headlight to sit lower than standard, will try fit them mate, you could maybe make a set yourself that sit even lower
since the last update a few little things were sorted
finally metal tied my manifold
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120603-00438.jpg)
painted and fitted the coolant pipe for my heaters
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120603-00441.jpg)
tidied up the wiring loom near the bulkhead
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120603-00440.jpg)
battery box in
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120603-00444.jpg)
stripped my handbrake lever to get the lever out as it had slipped down and fired on a handbrake button i had lying, will swap the level for the black standard buttoned one later on, had used alan key bolts on it now as well
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120603-00444.jpg)
put the doors and bonnet on, actually looks like a car again
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120604-00449.jpg)

not looking forward to fitting these lol
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120605-00459.jpg)
made a bracket and fitted the killswitch
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120605-00460.jpg)
trail routed my killcords and ran battery cable
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120605-00464.jpg)
decided to install my ecu properly, so made a bracket
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120606-00466.jpg)
fitted the bracket
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120606-00467.jpg)
fitted the ecu
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120606-00469.jpg)
have now routed the wiring above the the ecu to make it nice and neat :)

good quality and shiney :)
while doing the ecu i made a template for my hand commander
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/IMG-20120608-00476.jpg)
then made a little holder for it, will look nicer when mounted and sprayed :)

cut some silicon hose and pipe and did my intercooler piping, although the pipe is temporary as i need an alloy bit to weld my dumpvalve flange onto, i have also done all my radiator pipe and its read to be fitted with coolant :)
now... the biggest bit of news is all about power and shiney things!!! :-D

Looking very good
Silly question , where did you get the battery box and strap ??
I had one that looked IDENTICAL even down the £1 shop special suitcase strap ???
I was just thinking that... and the elbow looks like my old sniper racing one :)
just a few things tiddles lol yeah they\'ll get an accurate description, cause if sure the feds will stop and have a look lol
thanks grinder, i actually got it with a previous car but it seems to be a marine battery box
if you sold your elbow to dthebuk brett then yes it will be yours :)
LoL! Yep, thats the one :)
Great build :) Are you coming to Rotorstock?
How parts can travel, lol
thanks man :) i have to work this weekend :(
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :(
i know im gutted but gold coins are most important :(
now thats something truly special! has added to already large amount of motivation i had for my build!!
watching with eager eyes for more of your wonderful inspiration good sir!
top work fella :)
Wow, just looked back to the previous page, mighty impressive build and spec, hats off to you and your skillz Sir :)
How are things coming along in 2013, mate? :)
Did you get to test the shorter headlight rods yet? I am aching to get hold of a set of NSX lamps or separate Hella H7 for low beam and D2S for high beam to get some proper lighting. We have over a month without sun at all up here, we need lights. Apparently, they don\'t in Japan lol
Didnt even see this last post :-(
2013 started when the engine in my daily went pop
Took the engine out of the drifty car and put it in the daily, its all back up and running but a think the tps in knackered
While fixing the daily fc I got a good deal from a friend and got myself an fd project, so while the fd is getting painted I have got the drifty fc back into the garage and I have started putting the bridgeported engine into the car, got the block in and test fitting a few parts, to decide what im doing

Fitted the radtec rad and testing a few other bits

Cant decide whether to stick with the previous intercooler or go maaaassive and use a greddy front mount?
S13/evo medium sized intercooler

Fd front mount large size
(http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/Timmy125/20130617_213435_zpscb5ec08c.jpg)
any opinions?
The FD one looks a bit of a pain to plumb in and keep the flow reasonably angle free. The smaller one, albeit smaller looks like it will give better and freer flow.
yeah thats true, could always cut up the larger one and re tig it? i think im using a different intercooler on the fd so could either sell this kit or cut it up lol when mounted right would sit nice in there
Sell it and get one that will require less work, as soon as you start cutting and re-welding, you weaken it and there will be more chance of future issues.
Timmy, lovin the thread. i have a question.
What did you do with the other smaller PAS pipe that fits into the back of the FC PAS pump? I assume you havn\'t tested it yet with saxo pump?
