How long is it before the fans kick in? I don`t think mine are coming on at all, probably why it keeps overheating.:god

Is there a good way of testing them??

(other than heating the car up and waiting for them to come on)

Mine used to come in at 95 before Super7 made them come on at 85... but over the last few months not seen them come on at all. Not sure if its connections or the fans.

(sorry to Hijack)

do you have a temp gauge or Apexi commander to see what temp you\'ve reached? poss the fans haven\'t been required?

They should come on if you press the aircon button.

I `ve ditched the a/c.
When i had my bottom pipe on my rad re-welded because it was too low i raised it almost 2 inches which i`ve sorted it, it now has clearence. Only problem is my rad fans were hitting one of my water pipes so clipped the blades (10mm ? ) this is a v-mount setup.
Would taking the edges off the fan blades affect it performing properly?
Im trying to get to the bottom of my over heating problems and its ******* me off.

Gonna change the relay and thermostat, maybe even the ast cap.

Even with the aircon ditched pressing the button should activate one of the fan relays.

Try the a/c on low as this\'ll start the fans instantly. Have you held the system properly? Lastly make sure you have a pressure cap on the ast and just a sealing type cap on the water / coolant filler.

I\'d certainly be arsed :D
The price of a rebuild against an hour or so\'s work..............mmmmm, i know what i\'d go for :Thumbs-up
Check the caps, bleed the system properly and fingers crossed it\'s not the water seals.
Dave.
