I\'m excited to say that my baby boy Elijah was born yesterday 13th Oct at 23:28. He was 7 weeks early so was only 4lbs 12 but is doing very well. He\'s living in a cool spaceship until he is better suited to living in the world.
Mum is fine, if a little tired, labour only took 2 hrs and was dealt with via 2 paracetamol (what a hardcore wife i\'ve got!) He\'s our first child and we are so proud. :WaveBye :cheers

Shaun
Thanks for all the kind messages guys and gals. :Thumbsup! It\'s been a whirl wind the last few days, thankfully he is doing well and only has his feeding tube and IV (which is being reduced daily so hopefully it will be out on Monday). He\'s maintained his birth weight which is very impressive as babys normally loose weight in the first few days so that is promising. We are hoping to get him home in about 4 weeks, so its gonna be a long slog but I think he\'s gonna be worth it :Thumbs-up
Pics to follow as soon as my stupidly slow internet connection uploads them.

I would not say well endowed, it\'s such an ugly phrase, blessed sounds so much better! :Giggle

Fantastic news; congratulations to you both and I hope all continues to go well for the little fella and he\'ll be home with you very soon. We at the other end of the parenthood scale with our only son just finishing Uni and getting his first proper job. It\'s been a great life experience, enjoy :)

Wow, he has lots of hair! :)
Remember to star brainwash him in early age. ;) My daughter was only 5 days old when she visited in Ahvenisto racetrack first time. Now she is +2 years and says "I want to go to Ahvenisto" And i managed to teach her to say to her mom, "We want rotary"... :)
Amazing thing is that she recognize a BMW when she sees one! 8)
