Noticed this connection at the front of the uim just under the vaccum chamber

Both connections have been taped up but they are green with 2 vaccum hoses going to each connection, the plugs to go into them are also taped up but are still there.

What are they for? is there any reason/benifit as to why they have been disconnected?

from memory boost control soleniods...when disconnected they allow the turbos to boost to .6 bar i think....usually disconected when there is a boost problem....

Would they have been disconnected when a electronic valve controller was fitted as this controlls boost?
