Title: hks 25-40s fittmet on a fd
Post by: srmotorsport on October 05, 2011, 09:21:22 AM
hi there guys hoping this should be a simple question to answer I have a set of hks 25-40s off my r33 gtr, was wonderinf how much of a headache would it be to fit onto my fd as i also have a hks t04r but not sure which way to go with my project.

any help would be much appreciated

texts are welcome 07855058578

also if possible i\'m after the parts then to do the conversion either bigger twins or the hks t04r i have will need manifold, oil lines, downpipe and wastegate so everything except turbo/s :)

Hey dude,

From what I have learnt it\'s getting the twins to work properly is where the major ballache lies, also you are limited with the porting size you can go to.

But get it too work and you in the relms of not much being able to keep up on the street or strip.

Single turbo with it being a T04R us always a winner and see good power figures from. This will also be cheaper to install and run from the get go :)

Don\'t forget that a \'large\' turbo on a piston powered car, is more like a medium turbo on a rotary due to the extra gas flows, I have a spare T88 sitting on the shelf if you are looking for 500ish bhp :D

I may have a hks to4r kit minus turbo available in next few months ;)
