Title: Bonnet Cable Snapped, How Can I Open The Bonnet?

Just snapped the bonnet cable on my RX7 :2Mad  Any ideas how to open it without damage??

This happened to me ages ago on another car. Which end has it snapped do you know ? And if it has snapped catch end I had to cut the grill out my car reach in and pull it from there. Again different car tho so I wouldn\'t known for fact if you could reach it .

I have done it a few times on a standard bumpered car, there is enough room to get your hand up through the main centre opening and release the catch. If you have a FMIC in the way, you may struggle. I long thin pry bar from right under the car may do the trick though Dave.

i have an emergency handbrake cable on my FD, so if the cable snaps, just reach under and pull the secret release! mega!
