Car has been running fine the past few weeks hasnt skipped a beat. All of a sudden the other night when i turned the car on the revs were hunting (going from about 1k-2k then dropping back down then up etc) i drove a few hundred yards down the road and the cars idle started dropping a bit then the car stuttered and konked out and now it wont start at all. The heat light was flashing just before the car konked out.
I have the car parked up at the moment as im in work in portugal and wont be back until thursday im just looking for a few suggestions on things to check when im home. im gonna have a look at the plugs as i dont know when the last time they were changed.
Ive pulled the egi and cranked it over just in case it was flooded but no luck.
Car is mapped with pfc and ive done a sensor check just not 100% sure what i should be looking out for in the sensor check.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated
Does the car idle like a tractor? It could just be the plugs, but it might need further investigation.
