Sorry to here it\'s broken a tip mate :(
What damage do you think it\'s done?
Not having much luck, a blown diff at the pod and now a tip :(
Now you can see if you can beat james\' strip time\'s at the pod though
Also when i have been boring friends about rx7\'s, they say "Oh i have seen one in horsham" Then i say "Is it black by any chance with chrome wheels?" Awnser "Yeh", I then show them a pic of yours and say "Is it this one" Awnser "Yeh thats the one". It\'s happened 2 times now lol

Sorry to hear that! My advise is to avoid going 3mm! I had three mms on my 20b! Off course they are strong but, it\'s literally impossible to machine the rotors "accurately" to fit those seals. Unless you buy three mm machined rotors from Mazda and then the corner seals to go with them!

Also they wear out the housings more compared with their counterpart 2mm!

Just sharing my experience!! :) If you do have 3mm factory Rotors along with 3mm corner seals, then ignore the above loll

Best of luck with your up coming rebuild

3mm Apex Seals? People are still using them? I mean seriously why?

Presumably they want to make sure they :censored: the housings completely next time :3Confused

Sorry to hear it popped, though Danny. I, errm would recommend using, well just about anything other than 3mm seals though

Go with whatever your engine builder recommends. I mean who cares, I mean youre only paying for it eh

What\'s the difference between the 3 mm and 2mm apex seels then. Apart from obviously the size what do you gain from either ?

Hey, width is more important than length any time. Ask any girl ;)

Or, more sensibly, they chew the housings to shreds. Yet still manage to break when det is gently applied lol. If you want tough seals, get proper bendy ones, not just a big thick lump of girder wedged in there.

I cant really quickly recall any advantages to 3mm apex seals but then im not really sober either. But generally speaking they dont seal as well as stock 2mm seals, are heavier and when the 3mm seals break (which they will just as easily as a stock 2mm), theyll :censored::censored::censored::censored: up your turbo.

Hi mate (if I am not mistaken, appologies if I am :() you mentioned Blitzboy mapped your car! I am surprised how your boost pressure was set to 1.6bar!!! Blitzboy knows his stuff!!! If I am not mistaken u must have had a boost creep!!!! Check your wastegate mate! The reason I am mentioning this is because when I had a boost creep, the same happened to me!

cheers

not blitz boy fault think the spa guage over reads
only going on rolling road from now on

Exactly, Blitz knows his stuff and for your boost to be set at 1.6 bar is just not like Blitzboy\'s mapping!

Thanks for clarifying this!

Cheers
