Title: the following seats into their RX7
Post by: michaelb on September 20, 2011, 07:24:37 PM
Hi All

Has anyone fitted the following seats into their RX7?

Any comments would be welcome..

I use my RX7 as a daily driver ...

Thanks for that

Is your RX7 FC or FD?  Mine is a 96 FD, was there any fitting issues?

Mines an FC so there\'s not \'quite\' as much cabin space (width wise) as there is on the FD. As a result, it\'s a very tight fit, the inside edge of the seats touch against my centre console and the outer edge of the shoulder support touches the door card (both barely) but on an FD since you have that little bit more room it should be a clean, although snug, fit. Somebody with an FD can probably confirm this, I just know the cabin space in terms of seating has that little bit more room in the FD than the FC\'s do.

You should be fine, but somebody with an FD should confirm it or debunk it soon enough :)

Hi

Many thanks for that but tbh I will probably treat my self to a new pair of seats

I could always do the originals in leather but last quote I had was £650

Ed

How are you doing mate?

I really wanted to your seats but I can not get hold of Kerim, can you send me some shots to michael@bukowskicomputers.co.uk

For the past 6monts I have tried to call him, I texted him 3 times...nothing mate

In fact I had 3 separate semi-urged urgent jobs on my car and I had to go to another mechanic..I have been going to Matt at http://www.mphcustoms.com/

Is he OK?  Let him know when you speak to him that I can not get hold of him...

I am not going to go the garage 22 miles away if he is away or not there..

Regards
Michaelb
