Title: lightened flywheel?
Post by: wolfie1 on September 18, 2011, 10:28:03 PM
was bored so went onto ebay and started researching clutches and lightened flywheels and so on and came accross a lightened flywheel counter balance for a lightened flywheel, is this just somebody trying to sell something not needed cause the flywheel is equal in weight rotationally and everything else is the same weight or is it really needed?

The OEM flywheel has the counterweight cast into it, if you get a light weight flywheel you need a counterweight for it, you can just use an auto counterweight like I have, there is a front and rear counterweight - don\'t forget that the ecentric shaft isn\'t called ecentric for nothing!
