Right guys, this is the working air museum I volunteer at when im free and its an ace place, as of the first of september the crew I work with have been gifted the whole museum to run, this is going to be our first big event so please help us make it a good one :)
The show will take place on October the 2nd 2011 at Coventry Airbase. This show is for **ANY** Classic/Retro/Vintage/Modified/or American car that you have. If you\'ve spent time and money on it, and are proud of it, we want to see it!
Entry is via the West Gate entrance, through Baginton Village. Postcode is CV8 3AZ if you need to Satnav it.
Gate\'s open at 9am for displaying cars, open to the public at 10am. Gates close at 5pm.
Entrance is £8 for the driver and 1 passenger, and this includes entrance to the museum as well. Additional passengers are £4 each. Non displaying visitors are more than welcome, at a cost of £8 each. Everything is pay on the gate so no need to worry about it now! Pleasure flights are available in several aircraft including the Dragon Rapide, Percival Prentice and Chipmunk, booked through the website.
Please come down and help us make this a success :)
There will be a food/drink on site, and the famous DC6 diner is also open.
Airbase is home to over 30 plus Vintage Aircraft so there is plenty to see and do. A live museum, well stocked gift shop and aircraft arriving and departing all day make this the ideal venue for the show.

Just to add some more depth/incentive, there will be pleasure flying oppertunities in some classic 30s and 40\'s aircraft so some more good photo oppertunities as they\'ll be circling overhead :)

The Shack and Nimrod pictured above will be open all day to visitors - Dependant on visitor numbers, there "MAY" be a run up of the Shackletons engines but obviously if there are lots of people and cars (which we do want) we wont be able to run her up.
Earlier this year (if we do get to run) x4 37 litre V12\'s ;) Hopefully she\'ll have four props hung again!

I\'m really tempted by this, 2 hour drive for me, dont think I have much else going on, much interest from other groups?
Just back off holiday and noticed this.
Not had much response, you still going?
I\'ll be up for this, as long as it isn\'t raining.
