Title: Help identify my exhaust?
Post by: B.Martin on September 07, 2011, 07:50:06 AM
Yeah, so i\'ve been trying to identify my exhaust. I can\'t see any stamp on it anywhere on any of the back boxes or tailpipes and frankly i can\'t actually get under it on my drive to have a look. Hoping someone with a decent knowledge of FC parts might be able to identify the brand of the exhaust.

Sorry that the pics are not the best, i was on my way to work and just snapped a few quickly.

Whilst having no idea about the exhausts and will more than likely be completly wrong but could it be the stock exhaust with some exhaust tips?

think the stock one has heatshields over the top of the pipe work, it doesn\'t look like very big pipe work, possible a non-OEM standard system with trims.

Think it might be an aftermarket OEM job like I had on mine, had crush bends everywhere, but made 210bhp (somehow lol) I think if someone had welded a plate over the back of the turbo it would have had less back pressure lol

Check out some of the ebay kits, I know Prof has a Toyo for £179, it looks really good and sounds fab

I had the Toyosport turboback before, extremely loud and people could hear me few miles away XD

Ah fair enough guys, I was just making sure I needed an upgrade... I thought I did, it manages to push out 220 BHP which to say it\'s utter wank - is a fair achievement! :Giggle

Just checked and Toyosport only have the single exit exhaust on the website at the moment... And that just won\'t do!

You can get some good twin exits :) although ive just checked and there are none for sale! There were loads lol

Here is my old exhaust you can laugh at (210bhp allowing a 14.2 drag run as standard)

I just like how the downpipe flange doesn\'t even line up with the actual downpipe lol
