I\'ve bought a nice C-West Silver Import Rx7 which hopefully you shall all see at Bolney *if it\'s converted in time* but i\'ve hit a snag with the exciting topic of insurance.
I went to activate my insurance on the car today with the quote elephant gave me *as it was the best* but when having a natter to customer services, they will insure the car which is fully kitted etc (see photo) but because it has an HKS air induction they told me that i\'d have to take that out as they wont insure air filters and never had...:reallymad
Now that\'s just silly to me, but anyway, phoned Adrian Flux and they gave me a good quote with the air filter, but was told that AON do discounts for Rex owners who are joined to this club... trouble is i\'m only 23 and the other one I was recommended *APLAN* said they wouldn\'t.
Does anyone know if they will insure under 25\'s??

Andy, give Tesco\'s a try. They have been known to insure modified cars with younger drivers.

I gave tesco a try Fish but they wanted a dam tracker... so screw them :(
The best deal I was offered, and accepted, was through \'Chris Knott Insurance\' they\'re in the affiliates section of this site.
Fair to say I\'m not young and have full no claims, one of the benfits of getting that bit older. I say one of the benifits I\'m still hoping there are some others. :cool
only one way to find out, phone them.
