very simple question to every one on here, just wanted to know why spend thousands of pounds and hours to make a car go faster, look better, and every thing else in between?
i will start,
because i can. LOL
Cause spending about £8k all in on an FC that has more power than a £800,000 Ferrari Enzo and having a higher rev limit, but no-one knowing what the car is, is more fun :) plus also having an engine that makes more power per litre of displacement than the silly V8s makes me smile :D
Because I don\'t think I could have as much fun unless I spent a lot more money!
Because tuning and modifying is like an illness, once youve got it you can\'t cure it. You can only feed the symptoms by spending more money.
because it\'s fun.
Because talking the missus into a £4500 FD (and then spending a \'bit\' more :D) is easier than talking her into buying a slower car like a Boxster, Z4, 350Z etc. and a hell of a lot more fun and satisfying :)
As Billie Pipper once said \'because we want to, because we want to\'
Adam
because as I told my mother when she got wind of my last (rather massive bill)...
"Hey, at least it\'s not crack" :)
I\'m unable to answer the question honestly without troubling the swear filter, so in the interests of protecting the innocent it\'s probably best if I don\'t. Lol
If you got the Money, then spend it :rollin

We have a winner :rollin

why? WHY?

Better to be in an individual car than follow the herd!
I once went to Silverstone with two mates, one in a M3 (new) one with a 911 Turbo (new) and they were totally ******** off when their far more expensive cars got no attention in the pits :)
I can fit shiny shiny things to the car :D

Bah I reckon its a waste of time
I\'d rather be driving my car. As much as I love a good project, nothing beats driving the thing and once you\'ve completed a big project you\'ve invested too much time to enjoy it properly and you\'ll always have a worry in the back of your head.
Whats the point in a nice rx7 if you just leave it in the garage like many people on here?

^this.
Mine gets driven every day, so is more or less always covered in muck. None of this trailer trophy nonsense from me ;)
Because I will NOT be beaten by a car called Ralph...and I don\'t believe anyone else would put up with him anyway....so I\'m stuck with him!!! ;)
cause it gives it that individual touch, you know sets it apart
My car was a daily, but was working out at £75 a week in fuel (pre crazy petrol prices) my FC will always be road legal :)
Because...
Powerful, Inexpensive and Reliable (choose any 2 ;) )
I agree with \'D the B\' - these cars are meant to be driven - 118,000 miles and a couple of engines later - I agree - wouldn\'t have wanted to spend the money on any other car :cheers
