was doing a bit of a trawl around the net last night and come across an original Mazda Cosmo, the great grandaddy of Rotaries on a classic car sale site... there was no price but i had to mail them out of interest.

I was a little devastated with the reply.

Good Morning,
Thank you for email.

Have a nice day.

damn swiss bankers lol, please someone phone then and outbid whatever this swiss guy has offered. no way i could afford one of these for the foreseeable future but it pains me to see such a rare car leave the country.
I emailed him about this car a couple of weeks ago.
£35,950 delivered.
When I contacted him he had already had 48 people contact him and had rejected 2 offers.
Regards,
Alf
I\'ve had the pleasure of seeing this car and it\'s other white companion in the flesh side by side - amazing - both cars in very good condition.
I believe that leaves only 2 in the country now :eek
When I saw this I couldn\'t work out which U.K. Cosmo this could be, as I thought I knew all of them. Looking at the pictures it is in a very stereotypical looking japanese garage, also the boxes at the back have japanese writing on them. Anyway i\'ve just phoned the dealer who\'s a very nice chap and had quite a long chat. It is indeed a japanese car, which belonged to a japanese friend of his fathers. So it\'s been sold to a collector of Japanese cars in Switzerland and will be shipped from Japan to there. So we haven\'t lost one after all:Thumbs-up So that leaves 4 in the U.K. that I know about. I have two (one good one bad) Carl Hayward has one (unless he\'s sold it?) and there\'s a lady that owns one.
Phil
Carl will never sell that car, it\'s too unique to sell and no one this country has the ££££ to buy it.
How much are we talking? And what condition is it in?
Regards,
Alf
