How the heck or more like, where the heck do you place the engine harness??? I feel so stoopid for asking but no matter where I put it I cant get the rest of the brackets into place!

And lastly (for now :() The vac hose diagram I have shows this remaining outlet on the PCV (1 of 3) going to the oil filler neck but I dont seem to have anything there to plumb it into ?

Ok - for the wiring loom - only the part of the loom with the injetor plugs goes across the engine - the rest stays down near the solenoids / oil neck. The loom goes under the vac rack near where the fuel pipes are, and then comes towards the front (alternator side), with bits exiting out for the water temp sensor, bac valve, o2 sensor and then off to MAP and AFM. A small secton comes out the back for the solenoid on top of engine / back of throttle body.
As for the extra bracket - no idea ??
Engine earth point - that goes onto the rear bolt that holds the bracket you show in second pic - make sure it gets good contact - you may have to scrape a tiny bit of your paint off :(
The Purge valve has one large and one small port at the bottom - the larger port goes onto a pipe coming out horizontally from near the bottom of the oil neck (almost on top of the engine).

Engine loom is now in the proper place and all the brackets fixed in. Need to get some bigger hose to connect the thicker pipes up behind alternator and a few more vac hoses and plugs then it can\'t be too far off going back in the car (then yet more pipes and clips!)
Seems to be 2 earth straps, the 1 in the pic is a smaller hole than the one which goes under the bracket so I have to find out where else that goes!? :3Confused
Going to go and do some more tomorrow and see how far I get. Must say I was very tempted to say to hell with it and junk ALL the emissions stuff which would have made life easier!
