Just wanted to say a big:
THANK YOU
to the team for once again pulling out all the stops and making RS8 a great one! :Party
I accidentally started sampling the beer at 10am yesterday, so I apolgise if I didn\'t get round to talking to all of the usual crowd :cheers :Hammer
Anyway, roll on next year and bring on the noise! :driving:King
Got to agree here, very good RS and the best location we have had.
And so many varieties. I thought the overal standard of cars had improved this year.
Many thanks to Clive & Lisa, as always, and the Team.
Keith :cheers
Thanks from me too to Clive, Lisa and everyone else involved in making this happen. As always, I have a very enjoyable day out - even the weather behaved, for the most part :Laugh - shame about the pesky wasps!
Had a good enjoyable day - wasted some time making noise on the strip again - but really enjoyed watching the big power FD\'s going down the track :Thumbs-up
Good to catch up with some fellow FC owners too !
Thanks to Clive and Lisa and the crew for organising and making it a pleasant day out for another year.
Until the next one...
It was a great day, and even better to meet the peploe behind the keyboards, although I didn\'t see everyone.
Shame I couldn\'t stay past 4 though as to drive home and pick up a bumper for my bros trans am.
Looking forward to next year as it will be even busier than it was this year which I thought was the busiest so far?!
And of course next year I will have the rx4 tearing up the strip!
Was really good, always great to catch up with everyone and spend the night after a couple of beers :D
The sprint track was really good. Uploading video off the bumper camera now !
Cheers again :D
Shaun
Yeah thanks to everyone for making this event happen. It was a very good weekend. Also thanks to Prof for bringing the front wing for me in/on his cab. Much appreciated mate.
I\'ll second the comment above about the sprint track. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully I managed to make a few people chuckle with my spins! If anyone got any pic\'s or vids please post them up for me to have a look at. I never took a camera with me.
Ade
Just got home from an "interesting weekend"
would like to say thanks to Clive, Lisa and all the others that out in the hard work to make Rotorstock 8 such an awesome event... it was a real shame that there where not more RX8\'s there what with it being RS8.
however those that did turn up put on a good showing from various levels of modification to standards.
as usual the RX7\'s did not disappoint and it was good to catch up with friends i have made from the various MRC events i have attended.
Congratulations to the Wedding couple also the two FD\'s rolling in looked very cool.
would also like to Thank Clive for the help in getting my 8 back to its usual body kitted good looks (my opinion there) in time for this great event.
so here is looking forward to Rotorstock 9 next year.
Had a brilliant weekend and pics and vids are to follow from me once i get them all sorted :Thumbs-up
The first part of the convoy was good, apart from when we stopped at toddington services and went to fill up with fuel, then adam and all of the others buggered off. We then went past the correct junction, so i had to fire up the sat nav and finally got there, and then we arrived at santa pod 200 yards down the road was the rest of the convoy due to a lovely lorry that cheered me up. :Laugh
Danny hope you got back fine and hope you get it all sorted :)
It was good to meet everyone I hadn\'t all ready meet, but didn\'t meet everyone.
It was my first time ever at santa pod and was good to take the egi down the drag strip. It was also good to see James and the Dragon and Danny racing and seeing danny\'s last DIFFerent run. lol
But seriously though I had a great weekend (apart from that bleeding music all night long) and thats to Clive and Lisa and also Matt for watching our spot while we where picking up the in car cam :Thumbs-up
Hopefully will be there next year :Thumbs-up
:burnout:3gears-rh
Big thanks from me and Hannah for a fun day. It did seem quieter than previous shows but that didn\'t mean it was less fun. Meeting up with all the usual suspects and meeting new member and seeing around their cars, taking shop and offering what little advise i could was all great.
Got loads of runs up the strip and finally got myself well into the 12.s with a 12.6 @ 113mph. :D:D
The evening party for Gary and Di was just brilliant with everyone there having a big laugh.
Well done to everyone for all the hard work and giving up their time to do it for us all.
Adam
so who was the winners in the drags and lets hope people post vids :)
did the reworx or the rxmotors cars race?
i had an amzing time guys thank you so much, plus im glad with the time i got
12.5 at 112mph not bad on road tires hehehe.
have to admit was funny to see the launch rip out my oil temp gague lol lol lol
i have some good incar vids and some videos of adams and dannys run. some of me and danny too
Same here, Thanks to Lisa, Clive and everybody involved and who turned up making it a great fun day again. The sprint track was great fun watching everybody having fun and showing the 4WD scoobys that rear wheel drive is best and the race between the bride and groom was fun aswell :D
Had a good fun camping and was great seen some old friends again and the weather great this year to even wasps could not stop the fun.
Thanks again....
Did anyone get a list of the sprint track times?
Echo everything my lad James (wheelynutz) says, we had a fabulous weekend. Thanks Clive and Lisa, sterling work for a great RS, our first of many we hope. Great fun shooting the FC down the strip, sure her slow stock speeds and my dodgy gear shifts amused a few.
Camped overnight with jamison1982, rx7danny and company... good fun, an amusing BBQ and no sleep thanks to a mindless moron pumping beats ALL night!. Mad Sunday was well worth it tho\' ... great seeing all sorts of cars rip the strip, caught up on some sleep during Monster Trucks, and was wowed by the sight of a bike doing 185mph (8secs) on the strip and literally blown over by that Jetcar!! 266mph and a 6 seconds 1/4 mile! ouch my ears still hurt!!
Soz rx7danny...hope you made it back OK and get the diff sorted.
Till next time guys:cheers
Anothing big thanks to everyone involved in making this years Rotorstock another great day. Whilst the wedding celebration added a new and very special twist to the day, it was still great to see such a great turnout of cars from all corners of the rotary world.
A huge thanks also to Gary and Di for letting me be a part of their big day, and also to those that voted for my car. I was very surprised to arrive back at the stand having put up my tent to be given a trophy by Lisa. Highly unexpected!
Yeah, thankyou as always to Clive and Lisa for the massive amount of work that goes into organising the event. Excellent turnout, fantastic cars, great company and a wedding reception to boot. Top bombing!
Is there a list of trophy winners and that? Spent so much time nattering, faffing and taking pics I completely forgot to fill my voting form in even, let alone catch the results
Thanks guys for going to all the effort to put on this event every year :) It was great to come out and chat about cars all day and catch up with a few people, and I LOVED going on the sprint track, certainly would want to do that again next year!

I\'d also be interested to see this if anyones got the info!
It was a great day out and off course very tiring for me as I stayed over and slept in my car lollll. I also met some new people and forum members and enjoyed the wedding of Gary and Di.
Cheers
Mir
