Title: Anyone: A Favour required
Post by: matthewbellamy on August 15, 2011, 11:06:50 PM
Hello Everyone.

I have a bit of a dilemma i have sold 4 18" alloy wheels to Lacey on here, however since the after sale my job has unfortunately come to a bitter end as i have been made redundant. I cannot afford to deliver the wheels via courier or deliver them to her personally as i only have my RX7 as a daily driver and all my other friends own small cars and would need a van or estate type of car to carry them.

So i am asking anyone for a favour if they could help me deliver them to Lacey (would mean collecting them from Birmingham and take them to Surrey where Lacey lives..

I am willing to pay for this service of course. So if theres anyone out there willing to help please respond.

Many thanks. Matt :) x

I could get them to Hayward Rotary this Friday.

They\'d be lot closer and someone else may be able to finish the trip.

Let me know if that helps.

John

Hi Matt, there are quite a few couriers who use a company called \'Shipley\'.
It works on a bidding system so if there\'s a courier passing you and travelling near to Lacey then it should be pretty cheap. I got 2 bumpers and a sets of side skirts delivered for £30 which was a third of what i expected to pay.
Log onto \'Shipley\', put in the collection and delivery address then when it asks what you want to pay put in something like a tenner and you may get a suprise..........worth a go as the worst that can happen is that it may cost £20 or £30 :Thumbs-up
Dave.

If you can get them as far as Reading, I can take them home 1 or 2 at a time from my work address (Lacey is my lodger).

I work just off J11 M4, so quite easy to find.
