For some reason, I cannot open any web links that in in an email it appears that this facility was taken out when we removed a program from our PC
Does anyone know how I can restores this? as I have to copy the web link into a new browser window in order to open it rather than just being able to click on it to open it.
If you\'re using Outlook you need to change the security settings - if you are I\'ll check what you need to do.
Hi Ann
Yes using Outlook
Can anyone help with this :3Confused
I don\'t use Outlook but it sounds like your emails are being viewed as plain text rather than HTML, have a look in options/preferences and see if you can find a setting that has caused the problem.
What program did you remove?
Kevin
Have you installed google chrome? If so, have you uninstalled it??
Does the link in the email have a line under it, but does nothing when you click it?
In this case you may have to hold down CTRL on the keyboard whilst clicking the link for it to work.
Or this may help :)

Thank you before I do anything this is the error message we get:-
This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on the computer. Please contact the systems administrator.
I am using MS Office Outlook
Try resetting your default browser as shown in the link before your last post
