The 5 has gone so time to get back into a FD.

However, what a confusing market place, prices are literally all over the shop. I see some sold thinking, how did you manage to get that price and others where i think, cant believe that hasnt sold.

It never used to be this confusing, lol :Giggle

Looking at the mo too and you\'re right they really are all over the shop, constantly seeing high spec cars going for silly low money, yet low spec sheds selling for higher amounts... It is definately a bit crazy out there heh

really clean standard cars, which haven\'t been abused seem to go for better money, I had a standard black one, sold it for £3500...but had quite a few calls and emails before and after!

Yet I had a single turbo, not that nice, and struggled to get 3000 for it

Its weird, just been speaking to a mate whos into other jap performance cars and he says its the same across the board.

After having a thorough scan around pretty much anywhere, it would seem not many are selling at all from £3k to £10k+, i must say i couldnt see anyone spending 10k+ on a rx right now, not sure how the importers that have them sat around are getting on.

I just spent 7.8k on mine but it was a mint condition 2000 model low miles no mods which was what I was looking for. Prob paid a bit too much for it but I saw a few ruff ones before hand.

Perhaps the only exception, late model 99+ seem to be popular and all similarly priced.

if you want to laugh have a look at the price of a couple of early standard ones on autotrader, between 7.5 and 10
Theres a couple of nice spec ones on piston heads around 10 but i think a good standard one with nice mods and rebuild is around 4-5 k
or a poor one is 2k
it is surprising how many people want 4k for a turd though.
even 2.5 for a non runner thats 800 quid in my book.
id pay 7 upwards for a good 99 spec,
