Title: Rear Toe Link
Post by: andrewrx7 on June 22, 2004, 12:51:18 PM
Anyone know if the bushes on the rear toe control link can be changed, or does the whole toe link have to be replaced as one unit?

Cheers

Andrew,

You should be able to order new bushes from Mazda, the old will press out and new will press in.

I have aftermarket ones for my racecar, I\'m pretty sure Mazda will sell them - give them a buzz.

Thanks for the reply, Glenn.

I know Mazda do the main bushes for the suspension (several other threads around), but in the service manual, it says check and replace bushes on the other suspension parts, but strangely does not for the toe link. I therefore wanted to see if anyone else had had these bushes wear, and if they are replaceable ( or whether the unit had to be replaced whole). Better to go into these Mazda dealers with a little knowlege !

Cheers.
