Title: Image Hosting
Post by: B.Martin on August 09, 2011, 08:00:26 AM
I use photobucket for my image hosting, but it resizes all my images so they\'re dead small. I\'ve looked but there seems to be no way for me to stop it doing this. Who do you you all use for image hosting so you can upload bigger pictures? :confused:

Prob mate. It\'s likely to be your iPhone resizing them. Do u use a app of web browser to upload them

Yeah i do, i\'m going to upload them directly from the phone later and see how they look then.

I just downloaded the app. Took a pic and it uploaded fine.

Go to your settings and check which image size u have selected mate. That should fix it

I had a look in the settings and couldn\'t change anything. I\'ll check again, thanks for the help. I think the problem is the size of the iphone pics is very small, so perhaps i\'m thinking they\'ve been resized.

Thanks

that is the coding for your image mate

src="http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc23/BenNova/8f456712.png" border="0" alt="" class="resizeimage" onload="resize_image(this, \'http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc23/BenNova/8f456712.png\', 999);">

this is the coding for mine

src="http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q296/needham1982/587ccc49.jpg" border="0" alt="" class="resizeimage" onload="resize_image(this, \'http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q296/needham1982/587ccc49.jpg\', 999);">

its the same coding :( go on your iphone and on pb app, change the resolution to 1280x1280, its a long shot but worth a try.

If you go to Photobucket website - click upload now, then choose bulk up loader. Bottom left hand side click more options to set maximum upload size.

I have mine set to 17" (1024 x 768)
