Title: Choosing a colour for my FD3s
Post by: SSR_Jake on August 08, 2011, 04:46:47 PM
Hey everyone... The shell is going in for the respray in a couple of weeks... The bodywork will be black however the color of the engine bay I can\'t choose...

Should it remain black? - If so what black, a high gloss pearl black or what?

Should it go White? Silver? Grey? Pink? etc.

Help me choose! =)

Stick with the same colour mate, Engine bay needs to be in vehical\'s own colour, just an advice.

I have resprayed my car completely but left the engine bay in its own colour. It would help you in future.

Ok, Second question what type of black do I respray the whole car?.. Is there a better shade of black than the \'brilliant black\' that the car is already?

* What do you all think of \'Sikkens deep black\' as a shade?

The best way to choose a colour for your car is by looking at other cars on the road and picking one of those.

I have an rx8 "stormy blue" colour on my rx4 which an awesome colour, but it is expensive! £30 for one ingredient in the mix alone!

Most black cars look good if they are rubbed down properly and well polished.
