Hello guys, today after a hard work I changed the spark plugs on my FD, honestly I have no idea how many kilometers they have traveled the old spark plugs, but they were very badly made, with lots of residual carbon.
now the car feels much better and also the old sparks of iridium were Grade 10. I proceeded to put the stock NGK of Grade 9 in L and T. considering the my upgrade , having 320hp on boost at 0.85, seemed to be the more sensible choice.
I am very worried about the health of my engine, rebuild of 35k miles. I would clean with bg44k, my question is this: can I use with my new saparks whit the BG44K? what is the fairest way to use it? and how is it used?
I hope I never have to change the spark plugs once again used the cleansing treatment.
Thx all mates
Are you asking how to clean your spark plugs in the future? If so, spray your spark plugs with some carburetor cleaner and then use a wire brush to clean off any carbon. Let the carb cleaner evaporate, job done. I\'ve never had any problems using this method.
No no sorry for my English :(
I want clean my internal engine whit the BG44K not my spark plugs :)
I just fear that the new spark plugs can be installed with bg44k damage when added in the gas tank
don\'t put additives in your fuel, you might as well put fairy liquid in there for all the good it\'ll do.
running the proper high octane fuel will have good detergents in the fuel to clean out things internally. I have heard that you can \'steam clean\' the engine by running it at about 3k rpm and then getting it to ingest a bit of water via a certain vac hose - although I wouldn\'t advise it lol
I use 100 octane Shell WPower constantly.
I hope that with the new spark plugs will clean up the residual.
I knew that i can clean with water, but no idea where the pipe for this
Thx M1tch
I forgot, I use premix whit specific oil to 2ml for litre of petrol :):guinness

Im sure with V power it would have cleaned most of the muck out, I do agree that a fresh set of plugs make a difference though! I also replaced the HT leads and it worked even better :D
thx :D
my next step maintenance is New Coils L T and new cables, MAGNECOR are my current, but are a bit old.
I will change ALL :D
