Post by: carlos cunliffez on August 06, 2011, 09:19:21 PM
Hi, im Carl, Bought me a 1992 FD3S with under 60000 miles on her.allways fancied one and thought what the hell, ya only live once! so went all out and got a monster! she was running well over 400bhp but now at approx 400bhp with boost turned right down as more economical for daily usage! lovin the power of these things, its awsome!
how and where do i upload pictures? will put a few on.
i know a bit about cars but not much on wankel engines! few things i know of with the one i bought are:

Ex police car from Japan had a rebuild in 2006 when it was imported. Engine came over separately as ex police engine had to be removed. Engine changed at 40,000 miles. Greedy radiator and new silicone hoses as they were upgraded from rubber. 2k worth of oz racing alloys with toyos on each rim. 235 on front and 255 on rear. The car did have a nos blogger system but it got taken off by the previous owner as he only used it for the purge kit and not straight port injection but the NOS badge is still there
Apexi FC Commander

G-Reddy turbo timer

Apexi twin filter induction kit

Carbon boost pillar guage

Lightweight OZ racing vented bonnet

Veilside aftermarket fiberglass body kit

Large adjustable oz racing rear spoiler

Full turbo back 3" bore stainless with straight catolistic converter

G-Reddy aftermarket intercooler with aluminium housing
Blue silicone vacum hoses
17" oz racing polished split rims
Momo stearing wheel with blue aluminium boss

Fiberglass aftermarket wingmirrors

toyo rear tyres and falcons fronts
Engine remap

The ex owner said the car had a geoset and a turbo increase. What the hell is a geoset? lol
All i know is it goes like stink and COULD go even quicker if "turned up!":yes

Welcome in! Make sure you run it on high octane fuel as its probably mapped for 100RON jap fuel! Make sure you look after it and don\'t boost it too high lol

Perhaps geoset means gearset? I know you can get uprated gears etc or it might mean a better diff.

Anyhow, welcome in! Get some photos up :D
