Right....
I\'ve found one and brought one and it should be on its way to me later this week. The guy i brought it from is on Driftworks and his name is LEOSR20 - He has 1 more, so first come first served i know a few people on here want one!! PM him and tell him i directed him to you!
Good luck and don\'t say i\'m not nice for letting you all know ;)
awesome thanks for posting that up mate i just bought it from him :Thumbsup!
No problem mate :D
Get pics up when you\'ve got it fitted!
You got a piccy of what this looks like - and how it\'s fitted to the FC front bumper ?
Cheers :Thumbs-up

Which is also rather sexy!
That\'s actually lower than my splitter - think I may keep mine and have Roberto work his restorative magic on it...
Might be interesting to compare it if anyone has one and is coming to RS8.
Mine won\'t be arriving for a few weeks. Oh and obviously i wont be making RS8. You should ask gander!
He sold the other one (as above), but said he\'d keep an eye out for me.
They\'re a lot taller that a stock TII front lip, so make the car sit a lot lower at the front. More down, less forwards.
just got my splitter i\'l be putting it on tomorrow i\'l get some pics up asap
Ooo the excitement :D
Yeah good lad, get those pics up :)
riiight i the splitters on but i cant get any pics up for the moment
the charger on my laptop has packed up so i can get them off my phone
it was quite easy to fit just drilled a fiew holes and attached it with zip ties i was suprised if anything at how easy it was
although it looks 100% better with in on the car
Get some pics up asap, try and get some pics of how you\'ve fitted it as well mate for when mine arrives. did you have to modify the splitter at all or is it pretty much the perfect size for the stock bumper?
Glad its worked out well for you :)
Ben, have a look under your bumper and you\'ll see a bunch of round holes for where the stock item screws on. Drill holes in new lip that line up with these, and cable tie on...
It\'s how my TII one is held on.
Oh okay, i\'m sure it can\'t be that hard. I know there are some kind of fittings underneath mine, no worries. My splitter should be here around 28th i think.

it fitted perfect it is a tiny bit to small so you need to kinda force it on a bit but it stays on that way
anyways

Looking good mate, FC\'s look so much better with a splitter! Top work, did you resprey it or was it already that colour?
it was already that colour but i just cleaned it with some bumper black
my old egi :)
Picked mine up from the port this morning, hopefully get it cleaned and fitted Saturday afternoon.
im still on the hunt for 1 of those splitters.
Driftworks mate. Thats where i found mine and Aundre\'s!
Aundre - Did you use anything other than the cable ties?

just cable ties mate and two self tappers on the end but it isn\'t a must you could do it with just zip ties
You all lie! I can\'t do it, perhaps it won\'t line up properly because I was trying to do it on my own. It seems for me to sit it underneath the bumper it will need self tappers and some of the corner bit trimming, probably get somone with some experience to do it for me!
Why is everything always so fricking difficult when I come to do it? To top it off the drill packed in and wouldn\'t charge! I\'m like cursed when it comes to modifying things :(
Right the reason i\'m having fun with this is i want it sitting totally underneath the bumper like in these pics.
I want mine exactly like Ganders!!!

Where as Aundre\'s is fixed with the oem fixing and sits infront of the bumper also he has an S4 egi bumper and its shaped slightly differently to the TII bumper. See here and you can see how it sits -
(http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx343/aundre-3000/IMG_0527.jpg)
So anyone have any idea how the splitter is fitted all around the sides on the TII bumper as it doesn\'t seem to work for me, a guy i know in Larnaca has offered to take a look at it with me see if we can get it on but i\'m a bit unamused that i can\'t fit it after shipping it half way round the world!

Hehe, the splitter in this photo is MINE!!! Just waiting for it to arrive :D
Problem is you have an S4 bumper as well don\'t you? They look much easier to fit than the TII bumper, why is nothing ever easy - Also i imagine you have a whole host of tools at your disposal living with the Prof!

Tools a-plenty! :D
I don\'t have that luxury, hopefully i can get it on this weekend -> the splitter that is ;)
A drill, a 3.5mm drill bit, and some zip ties.
What could be harder?! It\'s how I\'ve had my splitters fitted for the last 3 years!
Did you drill the metal on the wing as well? That\'s the part I\'m not sure about, plus I don\'t have a drill :Giggle
Pics Ben?
Drill holes in the new splitter, that line up with the holes on the underside of the bumper. Then you\'ll be fine! TBH, you might even be able to use the standard bolts rather than zip ties if you drill the holes in just the right places.
The front is held on by 3 zip ties - 1 each side, 1 dead centre, then the sides are zip tied up using the standard holes found underneath the wings. (and yes, the sides of that splitter currently sit about 1.5" from the floor!)

Righty then, hopefully I\'ll have a go Sunday with a mate.
there\'s no way I can get away with a splitter round here, as much as I\'d like to have one :(
Its pretty good out here, there are speed bumps but not anywhere where i would take the rex. I mean when i\'m lowered i can imagine that i\'ll have the occasional bit of fun, but my 106 GTI had a splitter from a espace on it and it was low and franky i couldn\'t get on/off my mums drive without scraping so its nothing new to me :D
You can more or less see on this pic that there is only a few inch gap between the splitter and the floor :Giggle
(http://www.106owners.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=52873&d=1283091269)
No we can\'t, because the piccy requires you to login to the owners club :p
Skifledanabit, I doubt your roads are worse than mine, and I can run the splitter as shown on the car above. A. dodge pot holes. B. crawl over speed bumps in 1st. C. have suspension that doesn\'t move (like mine).
To get out my village I have to either go over a speed bump, or go along a road so bumpy and cambered I catch the floor with both the exhaust and subframe. And I can STILL run the splitter! (I say that, but I ripped the splitter off AGAIN today. This is why I use cable ties!)
Haha, hence why I don\'t want one, too much hassle, speed cushions round here are manic
106 wankers.
As I say i\'m certainly not concerned about speed humps here, there are some in the villages but are easily avoided either by slowing the hell down or just taking another route. The road surfaces are pretty good actually I have to say, better than the uk in a lot of places. I\'ll take my cable ties with me and try and attach it with them, hopefully I\'ll be able to - after all I only need a drill right? It was just the side parts I wasn\'t sure about didn\'t want to have to drill into the metal where the bumper and the wing meet. I\'ll give it a good shot and post pics up Sunday afternoon of I manage to do it, I appreciate the help.
Finally got it on, needed some fabrication with an angle grinder though for me to be happy. And frankly I\'m still not 100% happy, but I guess if I wanted something perfect I\'d have brought a shine auto one... And Seen as I\'m Grinders understudy thats not going to happen :Giggle

looks good mate .. i think i need to get my hands on one of these ;)
