I refuse to buy snap-on stuff as its too expensive for what it is IMHO. Facom is the same if not better quality for less money.

have to agree on the cars mate, french cars are made of tin foil and I don\'t think theres ever been a mass produced car designed and built in the US thats worth having.

Ford model T was the last of the good US cars.

I find a dremel better for getting of nots and bolts. Far less likely to damage other bits.

i took my cheep dremil imitation and flatend the nut out on each side and it came of with an 11 mill spanner lol i also got the pully off but not in one peace :S

i put the belt back on used a very long bar on the alternator pully and it held it well i tryd to undo the bold and heard the "snap" thats not uncommon when tight bolts come of but when looked down saw i had snaped it in 3 places :s ahh well at least its off goan go metal ones enxt anyway i udnerstand that puting bigger pullys on are less of a drain on the engins power

Gutted:(, how did you get the rest of the pulley off???? did you break it into pieces or did you somehow manage to get the nut undone?

Just interested because I still haven\'t bothered about getting the rest of the broken pulley off the p/s pump, lol.

Cheers, Paul:)
