Hi guys,
I want to get the new car (2 weeks old now) over to someone who will trustfully be honest and give me the rundown of the condition of my car as well as service it.
I live in west london and realise that wgt is nearly 200 miles from me. Its been there before but its an awful treck especially if i have to leave the car there.
Theres a garage in reading which is quite close, i forget the name.
Any advice or warnings of who to avoid or who to go to would be so appreciated as i have been burned more times than ghost rider when it comes to "friendly garages".
regards

Just pop down to junction 11 on the m4 where Rotechniks is at, or Thames valley mot\'s
Both are good garages that work to a high standard. I you have issues with the twins Dave at Rotechniks really knows his stuff
the garage in Reading is called Thames Valley MOT. i\'ve never been there but it\'s got a great reputation and the owner is a good guy, i think pretty much everyone within reach of the M25 gets their FD MOT\'d there.
Well I get my 20b serviced at Ilford by someone who is very trustworthy and very competent and also very reasonable price wise.

You got a few choices. There\'s AC Mechanical Repairs (they\'re the garage operating in the same building as Thames valley MOT) or Powergains Motorsport in Romford. Where abouts in West London are you?
Mir, who in Ilford? I live very close...
Hayward Rotary (http://www.mazdarotary.co.uk) in Newbury shouldn\'t be far from you - I\'ve been up there numerous times from East London and have had a good experience. The drive (especially last few miles) is good fun! For general servicing you can get away with local decent garages, but for all the specialist issues that we face with our high temp rotary performance cars you definitely need a specialist that you\'re happy with. There\'s a wealth of information on here and other forums (rx7club.com has all the info you could ever possibly need, albeit US focused) and the best way to avoid getting burned is by having at least a good idea about whats going on with your car. Hope you enjoy your car! If you maintain correctly and really get to know the car, you will have many miles of motoring pleasure.

Hi Mate
The guy is not far away from Goodmayes Train Station-may be two minutes walk from it. As far his rotary/Rx7 expertise are concerned, I am more than happy with him. Top guy and very reasonable on a price.

Hi guys,
Have been busy at work so havent had a chance to reply.
I\'d like to say thank you to all of you (Jit, Mir, Bally, one08dragon, jackaleks).
I will give hayward a ring more than likely.
I have quite a rattly rear end, not sure if the exhaust is touching something or a suspension component is worn, so hopefully hayward will advise.
I managed 102 miles on £40. I think i could have done more as the fuel light never came on (if there is one!). I have been driving it like miss daisy though as i want to know its healthy before testing it.
Thank you again for everything so far, and when i get a day off i will clean and polish her and get some pics up. (i know these posts are horrible without pics).
regards
Peter
