could any one please tell me what this connection is for and where is it due to go ????
only had the car a few week and only just noticed its got no pipe on it.

You can leave it as it is. It usually has a pipe coming out and down but doesn\'t connect to anything.
Its where the OEM recirc BOV would have chucked hot compressed air into the airbox.
Nope, its the side of the air box, connects to nothing!
^^ what he said. From factory theres a pipe off there that just vents under the airbox.
I havent had one of those for years, but I think that actually is for either the BOV, ABV, or air pump. I do think that goes to something.
No, it is a breather/vent it doesn\'t connect to anything, just vents under the airbox. All the connectors for valves/air pump etc all come off the back of the airbox, not this vent on the side
fair enough. Havent had one of these in any of my Fd\'s for years.

Yup sure is - it was one of my first questions when I joined (god years ago!) The pipe goes out down and under and I was thinking, dam, thats loosing me all that power :Laugh
