Been looking at these as frankly i like them. How do you fit them though, i mean the tow hook on my FC seems to just be a loop. Is there something i don\'t know, i look at the pics and i don\'t see how to put the damn things on. And although they\'re cheap, don\'t want to be wasting money on buying something that won\'t fit. :3Confused

The pictures do not seem to have loaded properly,
You should have a small metal loop that comes out of the corner of the grill opening that you can connect a towing strap to.
Cheers Clive i\'ll check it out later when i\'m home. Had a look other day, but couln\'t see it. Probably didn\'t look properly :Giggle
Added another pic at the bottom, maybe this one will work.

I think that the OEM towing eye can be unbolted, so you would just need to bolt up the strap where that OEM bolts are
How cheap are they exactly? I don\'t trust the rusty-looking towing-eye on a 21 year old car, I\'d rather have something bolted down....

I\'ll check it out later when i\'m home. Just need the tow strap, mesh for the FTP holes, new plates and a splitter and the front end will be more or less perfect :mmmm

How cheap are what? The tow straps are around £10 on eBay and the rusty looking tow oem tow eye is clearly very cheap :Giggle
Will a £10 tow strap actually last? I\'d be wary about trusting anything that needs to be structurally sound and support the entire weight of the car if towed onto a recovery vehicle that only costs £10....
To be honest, i\'m only buying it for the looks but its MSA compliant apparently so can\'t be to bad. This is a write up for it:-
QuoteProduct Information
TRS high quality fabric tow loop, made from plyable 5000kg webbing. Mounts to vehical with 1/2 ID bolt hole.
Ideal for mounting to the chassis of your race or track car, making it easier to tow out of gravel traps.
Approx length - 10 inches. Width - 2 inches.
MSA compliant
Anyway i\'ve gone and brought one, i couldn\'t stop myself any longer :Giggle
It\'s similar material to the load strops we use for underslung loads on Helicopters. That\'s rated to 3000kg and we use it for lifting ammo under helicopters. It\'s more than man enough to act as a towing eye for a car provided it\'s attached to something solid.
Thanks! :) Ben you got a link to the one you bought on eBay? Do they do other colours?
Just put in \'TRS tow strap\' can get them in all colours mine is purple! :)
They do pink! :D
Errrm. Awesome?
