Title: need to find a mechanic close to home to change bushes
Post by: michaelb on July 21, 2011, 04:22:09 PM
Hi

I have been trying for weeks now to get hold of Kerim from Powergains â€" the phone just rings and rings, no response to texts ether..

I need to change some rear suspension bushes, all upper ones and 4 metal ones ( replacement made by AtomicRex )

I am going to have to go somewhere else but where do I go?  I am in North London, I can always go to REWORX but that is around 200 miles round trip

Does any one know of a mechanic “closer to home” which has an RX7 experience and specially one related to changing the bushes?

Regards,
Michaelb

The guy who work on my car is in Ilford. Apart from Pip, I only let him work on my 20b. He is very intelligent and knows rotaries well. I would recommend him highly. Price wise he is very reasonable.

Dude, you don\'t need to go to an RX7 specialist to have bushes changed. Any good mechanic will be able to do it for you.

In a way you are right but I am worried that they will have to use diagrams to work out what is what, they might also break something… and take longer unlike an RX7 mechanic will know the tricks of the trade and subsequently it may cost me less
