What are the compression figures on the engine?

Tbh i dont think the engine has ever been compression tested.

You think this would help find out whats wrong with the car?

Can\'t help you with that one personally I\'m afraid as I don\'t know Scotland at all, there\'s always the option of buying a compression tester for rotaries, but you might not like the price of them

I dunno mate im going to have to have a look tomorrow.
Im going to pop into my local Mazda dealer and see whats going on.
Failing that the closest Specialist is south of manchester.
There seems to be a big hole in scotland for these. Anyone want to start a business? lol

What are the problems you\'ve got? There are millions of issues that a compression test won\'t help diagnose.

Just the water leak it has. Its using water which means i cant travel far or very long.

Other than that i cant tell theres anything wrong. It runs well and has no banging or knocks of any kind.

Well just been to my local Mazda Dealer. I was told they dont have the equipment to test the Rx7 unless the ports are the same size as the Rx8. Which is an improvement as at first they just denied they could do it.

Does anyone know if the ports are the same size? I know they probs are but id like to get confirmation before i take her in.
