Title: Compression results
Post by: DJ Tommo on July 14, 2011, 08:25:52 PM
Hi guys i have a question about some comrpression results I\'d like some info about.

Are 7.4, 7.2, 7.2 and 7.5, 7.6, 7.7 are good compression ratios for a streetported engine rebuilt 1 year ago with 5k on the clock using rotary aviation seals?

Cheers

Tom

Yes they are good, a new engine that has been run in does 8s, my 89k FC engine has 7.2s on the fron, 6.9s on the rear. The good thing about your results is that they are even which is good news!

What compression tester was used btw?
