The RE-A one is always a popular choice!

Yea I like the look of this one on ebay
MAZDA RX7 FD REAR bumper bodykit RE2 speed DIFFUSER (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAZDA-RX7-FD-REAR-bumper-bodykit-RE2-speed-DIFFUSER-/360330996134?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53e566a9a6)  But, not sure if it would be a good fit? are they not to bad to fit? I like the style of this one.

they fit not too badly thats the same as mine, you do have to cut out holes for the towing eyes or remove them (i cut mine) and there is a little gap on 1 of the corners but you only notice it up close

It\'s entirely personal choice, just bare in mind often ones on eBay (including the one you like) are made of FRP not Carbon, and for a diffuser that you might catch on speedbumps, you really do want a stronger build, that\'s my opinion anyway :)

Also ebay jobbies aren\'t always a fantastic fit

the second pic is a sanai diffuser, not a re-a.

Ah, sorry, not an FD person, I google searched \'RE-Amemiya rear diffuser FD\' so thought they were the same, I stand corrected :)

Beat me too it Marco.
You\'ve got the choice of 3 mainly. ReAmemyia Pro or Street diffuser, or the Sanai one like on the 2nd pic in Laceys first reply.
Unless you\'re taking your car on track and pushing it to the limits then the choice is really cosmetic and which one suits your car better.
As has been said, copies can be a poor fit, Myself and Nik da Greek spent the best part of a day trying to get a street diffuser on to his car and that ended in lots of cutting to get it looks as best we could.
If you\'ve got the money then buy genuine, but be prepared to part with the best part of £1k for a Sanai or Pro diffuser (and that doesn\'t include the side vortex piece)

There are other but they are very rare and very hard to find. Mazdaspeed and Knightsports spring to mind (never seen a Knightsports one)

I have a genuine RE-A pro diffuser in black. Same as the top one above but FRP (fiberglass) its an excellent fit as you expect from a genuine unit, recently resprayed so in good order. Cant see the point in carbon ones as its under the car, however i do understand having the vortex generators in carbon as they stand out.

 Price is £300

Quote from: rx7boy;774746Cant see the point in carbon

The point is that it\'s a hell of a lot stronger and far less prone to damage, FRP liked to crack, split and break apart, a crack in a Carbon one is just a crack, it has to also rip the mesh of the carbon weave apart to actually break apart, but a crack in FRP is like a crack in a china plate.

i have an apexi back box on  mine and it clears with room to spare, the plastic things you are mentioning could they be "spats" mine doesnt have them but if you look on 1 of the pics in the ad there is spats on that car, if you are talking about the undershroud which is mounted to the bottom of the rear spoiler then yea i had to remove that cause the diffuser uses the same mounting points and i also had to drill a hole at the bottom of each arch to mount the diffuser just mind and put instant gasket around the hole before you attach that part of the diffuser to keep water out. i also drilled a hole in the bottom of each rib on the diffuser to let water drain out so it doesnt sit in it

Thats what it is! spats. Yea im thinking it would be handy if i could keep them. Could you put up a pic of yours fitted?

there is this one (http://www.epracing.co.uk/Carbon-Accessories/Mazda/RX7/FD3s/FD3S-GK-Style-Rear-Diffuser/p-75-111-112-114-1236/) as well, which i \'think\' is a copy of a craftsquare diffuser. It is sort of a cross between the RE-A pro and sanai diffuser. I kind of like it, but I am not sure how good fitment will be.

You mean Craft Company, not Craft Square :)

From here:

and also with the centre section fitted:

Actually, it could also be a copy of the Garage Kagotani diffuser, which is also very similar (if not identical!):

nah, it\'s not carbon unfortunatly. it\'s poyester. I bought it secondhand off a guy of the Dutch SXOC boards. He bought it new to fit onto his S13, but it was too much work, so he sold it to me.

It\'s a (copy?) RE Amemiya diffuser.

@Wolfie: Do you know what the fitment of your street style diffuser is compared to the shine auto version? I know the shine one fits better than the real re-a one, but also has a small gap on the left side. What\'s the overall quality of your diffuser? Could you please take some more pics (also some of the gap)? I wanted to import a shine one, but shipping is 480$. that sucks ...
