Title: Problems with Internet Explorer 9
Post by: kev-yorks on July 06, 2011, 02:22:47 PM
It seems some people are having issues when upgrading to Internet Explorer 9 posting on the forum. As a work around until we find out what is wrong, within internet tools you have the facility to run IE9 in compatability mode if you enable this option all should work fine again. This problem is only cropping up on certain systems so it may well be you will have no issues when upgrading to IE9 if you wish to do so.:Typing

I just came across the problem in Firefox, funnily enough. Any quoted text in the post doesn\'t count towards the post size - people might be tripping up on this as well.

I believe that\'s always been the case Ian - I\'ve tried to quote something in the past and just put a smiley but it wouldn\'t let me.

Hey guys , if you are sometimes having a problem posting something on the forum using Internet Explorer 9 i have a way round it, click on "compatibility view" which is on your site bar next to the refresh button looks like a broken piece of paper. Works for me :)
