Title: How easy is it to change an FC bumper?
Post by: Gman on June 18, 2004, 06:04:26 PM
To be honest I havent even looked at it yet but I have a new bumper i want to fit to the car before the jap show.  What i dont want is to start it but not have enough time to finish the job.

Rough estimates for a novice.

Hi Gman,
the front bumper is easy to change as long as you find all the bolts.Remove all the bolts you can see under the bonnet in front of the rad, then remove the ones the front end which mount it to the body and bottom of the front wings.Next look behind the top corner of the headlight closest to the wing, their is one on each side.Next their is three bolts on each side which hold the bumpers to the wings on the corners, to get to these you need to undo the wheel arch liner then shine a torch up inside the arch toeards the front and you will see the offending bolt. its not a hard job to do and 2 hrs should see it all back together. any problems let me no.
                            cheers mark     :cool
