Title: Wheels & Tyres
Post by: Shaun Pattison on June 18, 2004, 01:17:30 PM
Hello All,

This is my first post, so not entirely convinced I know what to do here. I have one question which is pure curiosity and one rather more technical query.

The first query. I have a 95 Twin Turbo RB which was originally shod with Yokahama Grand Prix tyres which I switched to Michelin Pilot Sports. Has anyone else tried the Michelins and if so, what do you think of the handlinmg and what generally (for UK driving) do people consider to be the favourite tyre for this vehicle???

Second query - does anyone know if its possible to fit a 9.5" width wheel on the back.

Interested to hear your views

Shaun

I have 10 inch wheels on the back, no problems.

No idea, but they fit fine.  Ive had them on the front too without any problems (just heavy steering!).

I might look when I get home and see if it has the offset on the wheel.

Morning J4P RX,

I don\'t want to put you to any trouble, but if you don\'t mind checking that would be really helpful.

Thanls again

Ill try to have a look tonight.

Its not a big deal though, I have 3 sets of wheels and the narrowest is 9.5 inches.

Cheers

i have 10\'s as well with 285 tyres, no rubbing of the arch either, but the suspension does not have a lot of travel ;)
