Title: My dead donkey
Post by: leefitz on June 19, 2011, 06:25:29 PM
Hey, i have the drifter in the garage about to start some maintainance and prep for the next day out. So I had my fingers under the UIM looking for vacume leaks and the car just stops. It hasn\'t, or even tryed to start since. It just turns over and over. I checked the egi fuse and it\'s fine so what could I have done? Could I have made done something to the coils? The cars a non sequencal so there\'s a bita room under there. Any ideas would be great. The cars not really able to be pushed because of a welded diff and the changes to the steering iv made so need her running to get her out of the garage.
Cheers lads

The egi fuse just after all, it only got a visual inspection. The car popped it a wile back and to get her back on the track I just shorted the terminals together to get me going but when i came off the track I put a good fuse back in just in case. Then over the winter when I had the fuses out so she couldnt be drove. I must have put the bad one back in by mistake. You wouldn\'t know to look at it that the fuse was bad as one terminal is bent down over the other so there was a hairs gap between them and that stopped her. The only reason I didn\'t check the fuse with a meter was cause I lent it to drifter at the last day out and it\'s the last I seen of it :S

Time for a new fuse box anyway I think, somehow
