Title: Bump Steer Kits
Post by: dthebuk on June 15, 2011, 02:56:14 PM
Can anyone suggest a decent place to get hold of these for the fd?

Everything ive found has been abroad, it\'d be much nicer to get them from the uk, mainly cost!

cheers

Ive been talking to him about these kits. They sound very good but he has to order 20 at a time. Might setup a group buy on FDUK with his permission.

I personally don\'t think it is a worth while investment to make.  The car naturally toes in under bump and by an absolute minimal amount.  The thing you should be more concerned about is addressing the issue of camber control under bump as this is awful!  Combine that with roll centre control from the usual dropping of the suspension and quite honestly any changes to the bump steer are completely masked by this!

they are not a cure but it does help, this is not a fd only problem or fix this is used on loads of cars,in the ideal world most of our cars would be way higher but most people run them to low because it looks better ,
