hi guys, thought i would put up some pics of my fd. ive owned it since i was 21 and have it for nearly 4 years now:D and its still awsome:Giggle it has a ne kit on it now with a bgw which i bought 2 years ago from japan. love it or hate it. me love it:D its all running standard really running 345bhp at the fly with a apex ecu tuned at reworx 3 years ago. But ive just bought a new turbo and engine which was taken out of a time attack rx7 tuned by wgt. its a 60-1 turbo with a half bridge port to go with it:D the down pipe has all been ceramic coated and looks like a peice of art i must say! well heres the pis of my fd anyway. thanks:Thumbs-up

Welcome to the club! That car you got the engine from was up for sale a while ago! It had motec ecu and it was running safe map. Since you got the engine which was done by Wgt, personally I would let Pip deal deal with it.

Great car, looks very mean indeed. I\'d personally get the wheels painted a darker colour (anthracite or maybe even black!) to go with the bonnet and wing, but each to their own!
I remember that black FD for sale. Think it was up for c.£30k IIRC, although they later decided to sell it for parts. Looking forward to seeing what you think of the car once the new engine/turbo has gone in and is properly set-up.
Quick question, what boost are you running to hit 345 at the fly? Oh, and nice Spider-Man blanket!

hi there, its running 0.8 bar done at reworx. i love white wheels had them power coated that colour. all silver rx7\'s normally have dark wheels etc... but i do have the origina wheels for spares which i think im gonna do black and have the best of two worlds.

Pip is very competent! He knows his work well. My car is with him at the moment, getting the Motec ECU installed in it.
The engine you bought had motec tunning on it- hence it is in my opinion the engine must have been managed well! Good luck with your project!

that car was not using motec it was using DTA ECU with the DTA dash, the idiot that sold the car to the guy that broke it for spares thought it had a motec ecu and dash.
i wont comment on the guy i bought it off lol but i got it all for a silly price:D
it was not Dean the guy you bought it of i was talking about it was the guy that sold it to him the one who had the work done by pip,

He gave it in exchange for a EVO 8 from dean he was just abit bored and wanted something new, 1 of those guys that just got to much money.
really:confused: was\'nt the rx7 all freshly build etc... when i spoke to pip breifly to identify the engine, pip seemed a bit annoyed about the car being broken up!?

well he spend 30K+ and all that work and man hours just to be sold as parts
i see! well im going try and swap the engines myself with some help!!! then see about it getting up to wgt somehow:confused: all i need now is a clutch!? i suppose i would need a twin plate clutch? dont suppose you know wht kind of power i would be making from this new transplant? i forgot to ask pip:Hammer

id say 380-450hp depending on your boost but id double check with pip about the ports on the engine also do you have all your fueling mods done? also just go for a 6 puck clutch as there less expensive than a twin plate and will do the job.
no not yet. need to get an uprated pump etc... the engine has all the injecters fuel rails etc which was already on it. would not know what size they would be? pip said it was a heavly half street port!? i would like to see 500bhp at fly:D then i will be a happy boy:D

yea i heard the car when it was at deans and sounded realy good im sure you can get 450 @ the wheels.
sounds good:D either way its more than enough for me lol!!! so these 6 puck clutch? how much are they and who sells them?
