CALL THE POLICE IF YOU SEE IT OR HEAR OF A TOP END STI BEEN BROKEN FOR BITS
Nice one dude, Ive thrown it up on FDUK too :)
Who in their right mind would steal something so obviously traceable? I mean it\'s not exactly subtle like just stealing an average jap car, it\'s plastered in sponsorship and aftermarket parts, not exactly the easiest car to fob-off as "No it\'s not mine, I\'m driving it back to my mates"
Wishing you at Japspeed all the luck to get it back in one piece though!
Its utter madness :( The problem is, without plates the police will have a hard time picking it up on ANPR or anything similar

Surely they will pull it over for not having any plates at all
I very much doubt the people who stole that would be silly enough to drive it on the road. It is probably an organised thing which means its probably in a lorry and likely already out of the country. Then it\'ll be stripped. It\'s either that or some dumb ass teenagers thought it\'d be a fun joy ride. Now realise how much trouble they\'ll be in so its either hidden or burnt out. Those are usually the harsh realities of theft these days. If the .......s can\'t have it then no one can attitude
Lots of high spec Jap drift cars seem to be getting stolen lately, it\'s disturbing that the cars being stolen are all quite high profile competition cars...
My guess would be they target the high spec cars because they are worth more when stripped and after market parts are difficult to trace.
Sorry just realised Im sounding like a professional theif lol. Im not at all. Its just I work with bikes as in Push cycles. And its the same with those. Most common thefts are either cheap rubbish bikes usually by teenages for a laugh. Or High end bikes with good parts to sell on. Same sort of thing really.
bloody thieves... they need to be shot
Spotted southbound M25 last night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR9gQ6P-Xto
Then it\'s probably on a private freighter by now at one of the docks, just a shame the people taking that video didn\'t get the drivers face
was spotted backroads in windsor last night at 2100
Latest reports now is that a bdc driver is chasing it through kent
how are you finding out this info fez, i want to see too
Looking on facebook police are now chasing it round kent !
Shaun
Rung up Kent police - Nothing immediately obvious on their systems of a chase.
Ive made a full report to them of the description of the vehicle and circumstance
Also made a note of the video and some vague timeframes - its been broadcast over all the kent regional police radios and their traffic channels
Anyone has any updates form them call them on their non emergency number
Cad reference - 12-0736
There are rumours of it being a publicity stunt, I really hope it is, but then again, I really hope it isn\'t.
there are just too many questions being thrown around, how was it taken from the Japspeed stand, how was it driven out of Pod without being noticed, how the hell has it managed to get from Pod, to the M25 and then to Kent without being noticed by ANPR and/or police at petrol stations (because it doesnt have that much MPG or range)... I dunno, I hope they get it back, but it just shows the sorry state of our police force if they can\'t even find a car that looks like that being DRIVEN on our major routes with the most CCTV in the world!!!
up to date new on this can be found on the Driftworks forum... alot of people from the community are keeping there eyes open around there area\'s for this
However do ignore the few knobends who think this is a joke and post up sh*t, hope this is found in one piece
I would imagine that everyone who has a road legal car has at least a CAT 1 alarm on them. The show and trackcars of course would not have these devices. Its a horrible situation though :(
It\'s a shocking turn of events I hope they get it back in good condition, but I admit I don\'t fancy their chances in this day and age! Would be one to see something like this end well and justice be done for once...

agreed, but i guess being entheusiasts and going to an event ideally with like minded people, there is alot of trust, i mean how many cars have you see at event where people leave there cars on display unlocked so people can have a look inside, under bonnet etc.
horrible situation though
Yeah completly agree
I love the atmosphere at the meets and all car releated stuff in general.
In any case, a lock will only keep an honest person out.
Ok, new intel, we first thought it was hanging around Wolf Lane in Windsor, but latest infro says it\'s been seen heading into Milton Keynes Town Center via Watling Street.
keep searching people!
Just saw this on BBC news just now!

It\'s been found by Thames Valley Police partially stripped in Reading, JapSpeed and their impreza are finally reunited! More details as they\'re released.
Good news that its been found! I\'m surprised they were able to keep putting fuel in it? Presumably it only has a small fuel cell, and most petrol forecourts won\'t switch on the pump if they can\'t see the number plate.
Good news it\'s been found.
The theives must be so thick, there isn\'t much to strip out of a racing car is there really??! As the police found it only partially stripped. Suppose they have done enough damage to cost japspeed enough money rebuilding it.
In Reading of all places, and I was working this weekend - but didn\'t see it - keeping my eye peeled for a saxo/corsa/pug with a stupid spoiler on it.... :rollin
I\'m glad it\'s been found. Hope they find the people responsible.

Not sure why the police had to be stripped to find the car. I know times are heard but surely they can afford full uniform :p:god:bandit:cool
Adam
...Its common knowledge strippers are used to slow speeding vehicles..der :Laugh or is that in the US only?

Lol you people...
It was all a hoax!
While I have your attention, I have a couple cases of a \'special oil\' that will add 50 BHp to your car.... PM for details..
If it was a hoax then someone\'s going to be in a bucket load of trouble. Driving a non road legal car on the public roads. Wasting police time. Being all over the news they wont be happy. Damaging the rep of security at Santa pod. etc etc
I think he was just making a joke
