Title: 99 spec turbos

Is there anyway of telling the difference between these and earlier turbos.

I believe the compressor housing are different.
Why do you ask?

Was going to buy a set just wanted to check if there was a way to tell.Are the any numbers on the compressor housing that i can check.

the rear of the earlier turbos have a c clip to hold the housings on. the 99 came with bolts and tabs to secure the comp housing
