Title: Car Wax?
Post by: Grizzly on June 06, 2011, 08:18:14 PM
Hi all.

Well its that time of year again.

I\'ve just finished the last of my Poor Boys wax off and am planning one getting some more, But before i do that i thought i\'d ask if there are any new ones that i should try?

TBh the only thing with the wax i\'m using at the minute is i think i have the wrong sealer a it doesn\'t tend to last very long if my car gets rained on a few times.

Any ideas?

I\'d reccomend DoDo Jiuce - I have Purple haze (for dark cars) and its awesome.

Last year the car was kept a few times on the drive as was using as a daily driver and when it rained it was like a wash!

Check out the video of the sheeting.

you can get small sample tubs of this stuff too, to try before you buy.

I\'ve just bought some dodo juice products to (purple haze, lime prime and Born slippy clay bar kit) and think they are doing ok.
My paint is starting to look very tired now in places but it has helped bring it back and give it a good shine.
Just becareful which size pot of wax your buying as the one i got off ebay was tiny, a \'panel\' pot its called and not much bigger than a ladies lipbalm but its enough to do a whole car... just :o

I use spray and shine:-

Bloody fantastic stuff. And really good value for money. But the thing I like most of all about this product is no water required. Its great. Because I have OCD Im obsessive about cleaning my cars. Hate getting annoying water marks and having to spend hours and hours doing it. With this stuff no need to wash first. Its a wash and a wax. Even eats into bird muck with ease. And pollen dust. Ok if the car was really dirty you might wanna jet wash it first. But I dont let it get that dirty now. I can go over the whole car with this stuff, Body work, Plasics, Rubbers, Windows, Wheels the lot. In about half hour and comes up like show room finish. Its simply fantastic.

We also sell Speed Demon Detailer Spray (http://www.shyauto.com/bsurf-city-garage----speed-demon--wax-detailerb-1574-p.asp)

This is the only product you need when you go to shows or are out and about

Use Speed Demon on your dusty car and your jaw will drop. It’s not magic, but using it is the closest you’ll get to being a magician!

Spray it on the surface, glass and chrome between wax sessions to keep your car looking brilliant. Dusty car? Doesn’t matter. Dust particles are suspended so they never touch the surface, ever. It gives your car a brilliant shine, blocks contaminants and UV rays, has no buildup, no streaks and lasts three times longer than other spray detailers (thanks to high levels of #1 Carnauba wax).
