Hye everyone, i\'ve been lurking about on these forums for about 3 months, and as I can finally call myself an owner, thought it was time to actually make it official :D
Im a bit of a novice when it comes to rotary technicals, but in the next couple of years, as i take mine to bits, and lovingly rebuild it, i hope to learn plenty about my \'92 FD. (Im only 19, so I bought it as a longterm project until I can afford the insurance)
Welcome to Mrc.. It\'s a nice and friendly forum! Hope you have a great time here!

Make yourself at home but just don\'t put your feet up on the furniture ;)

Thanks guys =P
Dw, wasnt planning on muddying up my new home ;)
Bloody hell, 19!? It\'s gonna be about five years before you can drive it the way the insurance industry\'s going. Still, admire your dedication, welcome to the club and all that jazz :Thumbs-up
Where abouts in the South east are ya mate? Theres a few of us about down here :-)
Yeah, the insurance industry, and the average mentality of my ....ing age-group >.<
Im based in Leighton Buzzard, where every other car seems to be some chav and his 3 mates, in the naffest little cars imaginable xD Gonna be so worth the wait to .... all over them :)
ok have no idea where that is lol
Welcome! :D
Leightons sort of near Milton Keynes, if that helps =P And thanks for all the welcomes =)
Oh ok. I always just assume when people say south east they mean local to me lol.

South-East? that\'s basically North!
you\'ve got to be below the M25 to qualify as South-East :D

thats what I was thinking lol
Im 22 and my insurance is only 1300 fully comp with 3 points. when i was 17 i paid 1300 third party for my 1.1i sx saxo lol.
Welcome to MRC :)
Im not SE, im not SW, im not midlands, and im not really north either... my towns just wierd xD
I know the insurance will be pretty hit and miss depending, but i was sort of aiming at 22-23 before i start to seriously consider it as a daily driver. I might see about taking it for track-days and stuff if thats possible *shrug*
Yeah, I was gonna query by what definition Leighton Buzzard could be called south east . People from the south east generally come from somwhere in the south and east of the country, the clue\'s in the name really :Giggle
Home Counties? Dunno. Everywhere\'s North from me :D
Technically its the SE, but i do agree, its not very south, or east, with about a 2 hour trip in either direction at least to get anywhere...
