Title: whats the max size wheel 2 fit a 3rd gen
Post by: azzy on June 14, 2004, 12:59:27 PM
hello,

just wandering the maximum size alloy and tyre that would fit an rx7 3rd gen, without having to modify any of the arch!?

i was looking for some 18" but was just wandering how big i could go and what profile tyre u recomend?

im sure theres plenty of you that have got new rimz on ur cars, i also want to know how low you can drop the car on different size rimz...again without modifying any of the arch.

thanks

my 18\'s rub the std arches on full lock and sometimes on hard driving, I will be getting them rolled

a guy on here has 20\'s for shows, but I presume he has rolled arches

depends how low your car is and if you want to be able to drive it

I\'ve got 19\'s.  The front inner arches need to go, but otherwise, no problems!

ACTUALLY MR FRITH they fill the arches beautifully...!!  I did worry I\'d have to get suspension to sort the ride height, but it\'s a very good fit...

Dunno why...
