Many thanks to all who came along yesterday, collectively you all made a great Mazdarotaryclub stand thankyou and showed the largest Japanese event in Europe what a wonderful diverse club we are with cars from the RX-8 back to the Cosmo and an RX-4 which made its public debut after an excellent rebuild, a car which we will hopefully see more of later in the year.
Absolutely great that we not only had a full stand "plus" this year with cars even parked on the road because we ran out of room but also that we filled our "Rotary track session" fully with every one not only happy but also putting on a brilliant showing for our Rotary cars, something I hope you will all support next year as well.
Below are some of the cars that attend and apologies to those we did not get that either arrived late or were out on track,
Hopefully as the days days go by we will have pictures of your great cars out there performing in the manner they were built to,
Thanks people you all made it a great day out, well done :Thumbsup!.
a few more pics
Was a really good day out. The morning session flew by and then I got propley sun burnt ! The amount of people that go to Fapfest is amazing considering the current price of jungle juice !
Great so see such a good turn out on both stands plus the walk around showed that there where loads of Rotary cars on other stands too !
Shaun

A big thank you to everyone for making this a great Rotary day out at the biggest Japanese show in Europe !!
We had a fantastic day and I had a ball on track.
Thanks for the pictures Clive.
I took a number of pictures of the RX8\'s on track and I\'ll post them up shortly.
PS.. avoided being lobster red as Mrs. R made sure my hat was on and coat buttened up to the neck ! :Nono!
Chris
Was an excellent day....nice to see so many beautifully presented cars !

I have just fallen in love with Andy\'s black car... saw it today at the pod :Thumbs-up She looks stunning mate very well done.
Was a great day!
Pity someone had to ruin the Yellow and black striped FD by pouring paint stripper or brake fluid on it! There are some nasty people out there!

no way, did somebody actually do that at a motorshow?

Too right they did.:(
The car was really well presented too and in fact one of the best cars on the stand.
People like that make me sick, spine-less scum.
Hope they were seen and can be punished.
Keith.

OMFG..why why why.
It was a real shame about the Yellow FD, it\'s an awesome looking machine and some scum tipped something like brake fluid or paint-stripper down the wing and did a lot of damage to the paintwork. People like that should be flogged.
Has to have been the best Japfest to date. Great to see so many, and varied, rotaries (over)filling the stand, and then to be amongst some of tbem on track. Well done to Clive and Lisa for "sticking with this event" after some poor attendences in the past. I\'m already lookng forward to next year on the basis of this year\'s experience:)
Is the rx4 theone that steve used to own? Using my iPhone artworks can\'t see detailed pictures
Looked like a great show and amazing turnout (wish we could have made it down)!
Thanks for posting the pics!
thats discraceful, did no one see who the hell did it?
Our day was completly ruined by japfest parking us in a one entrance/exit field with 10thousand others, then deciding at the end of the day they wanted to clear out castle combe first so they could all f**k off home leaving 10 thousand cars heading for the same gate with 4 way traffic we was only sat in there for 2 hours, which then f**ked us up coming home because the highway agency closed the m5:2Mad
Best part of the day was the big boys breakfast in the combe restaurant, matt web on track at 10am ish, brad drifting his pink fd and a few other giving it beans around the track!
No crashes or breakdowns that i saw on track(except the drift crash at the end of the day) so everyone being quite sensible!
Really enjoyed the day, and even though i was parked opposite to the MRC stand, i still felt part of both clubs with them being so close, I would like to thank Clive, Lisa, Casey and anyone else evolved in sorting the arrangement of the MRC track session, It was real great fun to actually get out there after watching some of the Rotary beasts going round last year while i was stuck to the stand.
Shame about the Yellow FD i really do hope they catch the scum bags that did that to such a stunning car.
Was good to see some familiar faces that I have gotten to know over the last few track and show events i have attended last year.
Hope to see you again soon. I am sure ill be seeing Clive sooner than most though lol.
