Title: Anybody played with haltech re sprint ecu
Post by: a.tapos on May 09, 2011, 11:10:05 AM
Been weighing up a new ecu for the new rex fd  im now on my fifth rx7 and the last 3 have had power fc and one had a knightsports ecu(didnt trust it though)

im just about to rebuild and uprate a few bits and thought about trying a different ecu

just wondered if anybody is on or has tuned haltech and are they worth a squirt/user friendly

the only thing i can see being a pain is lack of metering oil facility

though i know blitzboy and a few others have to use premix for the more expensive motec its not the worst function to loose

thanks

Not sure if the platnium 1000 but i think it can potentiallu control the oil meter pump but dont quote me..

im using a ps1000 on my new setup and ill be looking to have a tune / play with the help of some mates..

They seem to be the best bang for money and functionality out there at present. All the workshops in aus are moving to them from the ol clunky microtech - PAC Performance now runs them instead of the old microtech

With the platinum 1000 you can configure 1 of the outputs for the oil meeting pump or if you have the patch loom it will work as usual
