Gone already :(
Look very tidy for the price too.
Didn\'t think that would hang around, someone got a great deal
118k miles though, and it doesn\'t say anything about a rebuild, does it? or am I being blind?
^ quite. And judging by the looks of those discs more time has been spent on making it look pretty than on the mechanicals :( Hmmm several alarm bells ringing in that advert.
Good value at the price but expect a lot of work / cost.
And as for "future classic" oh puleeze! As a classic car nut meself I can tell you that unless a car is over 95% standard then it will not be considered a \'classic\'. Messing it about with strange exhausts / silly wheels will invalidate its \'classic\' status straight away.
ahaha... another "purist" in our midst lmao :P
Haha, not being harsh, but that\'s tosh. A car doesn\'t stop being classic because someone modifies it, it just stops being as per factory. You need to get yourself onto the retrorides forum - they\'re the most diverse collection of classic/retro car appreciators on the web!
Car looks pretty good IMO, especially for £550!
:) Makes a big difference in value - a "classic" (i.e. original) Quattro might be worth £15-25k, one that\'s been blinged will fetch £10-12k... if you\'re lucky!
edit: unless of course it\'s got Ferrari badges on it, in which case it\'s worth twice as much as normal ;)
The car doesn\'t stop being classed as a classic once modified, as I said, it stops being original, or (potentially) concourse, that\'s all. A classic Quattro to me is the Ur-Quattro, whether or not it\'s had the wheels changed, seats changed, exhaust changed etc etc, the MODEL is the classic.
And actually, with these cars, presently they\'re worth more modified than standard. What matters is the condition of the underside, whether it\'s been welded, any bubbling/rot etc. That\'s what we all care about...

The figures I quoted are real (this month) prices - they were not made up.
