Just thought I would let you guy\'s know that Steve and Chris Putt who we at Hayward Rotary build and tune their engine are competing again in the Castle Combe GTs this year.
There first race was 2 weeks ago and they got 3rd in the class, then this Monday just gone they did a double header with 2nd and 3rd place in class.
Steve is a great driver! Come and see them at Japfest as the car will be there.
The engine we have built has run continuously with over a full season of racing under it\'s belt and no rebuild as yet.It is running Hayward Rotary Apex seals.
Steve manged a 1minute and 11.9 second lap this weekend.
They have done alot of work on the car over the winter and it looks great.
Keep an eye out and come along to support them, they would love to see you there.
Here is a poor pic of the car.
Regards
Carl
