I don\'t really know John very well but met him and his beauty of a car at last years Bromley Pageant, his FB was lined up with the other cars from the forum so others must know of him. That car is spotless.

I\'ve seen this one before, it\'s a marvellous example of the breed.  Congratulations on the win!

I spent quite a long time chatting to John. He seemed a really nice guy :)

Sounds like he\'s had the car for going on 20 years and has looked after it all himself, including respraying the body himself.

The Elford block went, so he swapped it out for a home street ported 12a, and it does sound good and strong.

He\'s also got the Hi-Spec front brake conversion which looks pretty wild!

Been noting his car for years and I know John is in the SE, relatively close to Brooklands.

Never seen any posts or messages from him though.

Maybe he\'s not a computer man, but does he know how easy the old keyboard makes things nowadays?   (\'Wastes\' a lot a time too my missus would say......:spank.....)
